Motion tracker shows no signs of the Power Loader "2.0". (...nor a new Ripley...)
So I bit the bullet yesterday and worked out a very good deal with a local seller.
When I opened it up, it still had that new-figure smell!

Congrats. Aside from the hose pegs breaking, I still think this is a damn fine piece. Truthfully, I'm pretty sure that the only difference between the one shown last year was the better paint. Every other detail looks the same as this one to me. The Ripley that is included does leave a lot to be desired, though.

Thanks, guys! I have the Power Loader built on my desk with Ripley standing beside it. The loader does make an impressive display. Unfortunately the Ripley fig is not up to today's level of detailing. A replacement sculpt would really lift the figure.
The hoses are still in the bag as I haven't tackled the broken pegs yet. I did buy some K&S 1/16 aluminum tubing to replace the busted pegs. I plan to drill out the holes and cut up enough tubing to insert and superglue into place, then attach the hoses to them. They fit snug enough that they should hold in place. Will provide pics once start on that project.

This is obviously a review of the old HT Power Loader. However, it's a recent review (September) and I'm guessing this is what to expect, assuming HT proceeds with a 2.0, eventually.

Imagine how cool that 2.0 will be if they ever decide to release it. I hope they go ahead with both versions of Ripley they dangled in front of our faces and poof...it's as if she never existed. They pulled a Keyser Soze on us.
I ended up picking up the old Power Loader with Ripley, as I figured that either HT won't release the new version and if they did, it would cost a couple of hundred more than what I paid for the old one. Ripley definitely needs a new version headsculpt, though. Come to think of it, those exposed elbow joints look horrible as well.

Alright, I'm also done waiting! I got Power Loader 1.0 out of storage, put her together, put on the Aliens Blu-ray for screencaps, and then went to town weathering her. Ripley herself is an old custom that Darren Carnell did for me. Honestly, the whole package still looks amazing and I have no need for PL 2.0, although I'd be interested to see if Hot Toys still puts out the Ripley figure (from 1 and 2).

Great work. My Ripley's been sitting on top of my Detolf for a couple of years now, but most of the hoses are broken off.

Outstanding weathering! Hopefully when HT decides to release this that it's not a two pack and the only way to get Ripley 2.0. But they've never shown the new version without the PL. Guess we'll just keep waiting and waiting and...

Thanks everyone! As for the hoses, I glued them all to the plastic attachments, because mine also kept breaking off.
