Most probably the angle, but the sculpt looks way off in these pics... :dunno

That hair looks like it should be holding a pair of baby birds chirping for food...

I hate to say it but with the loader looking epic as it should that face sculpt is just all over the place. It's not necessarily bad, but its not realistic enough nor sculpted enough for a person to take one look and immediately know that's Ripley.

Suprised it seems they are keeping the rooted hair for this one and not the Alien Ripley.

I still think this head is a place-holder. My guess is, if this set ever gets released, the eventual portrait will be closer to the sculpted hair Alien version they revealed at the same show.

Hell, at this point, I'll take that Alien head with a different hair sculpt. I'm a desperate, desperate man.

I agree completely. They need to be consistent for it to look right on a shelf. Loader looks good, but it's one of those heads that if you saw it alone with no body, you wouldn't know who it was.

Is that a seamless body? If so than that's gotta be 'newer' as from my recollection they haven't been doing seamless bodies for a while. So could that mean they're actually 'actively' developing it? As to the headsculpt, angles on this really make it. The second pic looks better than the first. It does look like they made her eye gaze slightly upwards, as if looking at something taller than she is.....hmmmm....1/6 alien queen?? That for sure I'd buy.....

Yeah, I would think they are still developing it. Probably waiting on the feedback for the Alien Ripley with the hair. If that ends up being sculpted hair like the newest pics then I would not be surprised if this ends up sculpted too. Then once that is done they then have the round of Weaver's approval and Fox approvals to go through I would imagine.

Weaver should be proactive, approve BOTH at the same time!!!!!!!!

She's had the seamless arms since the beginning. Nothing on this has changed from the first time she was shown at SDCC '14.

I always thought the original 2014 proto used the Sarah Connor body with the rubber-covered arms and torso. Or maybe it was the top half of that body with longer legs?

They've been using rubber covered arms and torsos on most of their females for about 6 years now. Can't think of any female made by Hot Toys before Sarah Conner to be done that way.
