1/6 Hot Toys Endgame Ronin (Hawkeye) Figure

Lmao I was wondering that myself. In fact that happened a few times with him. Clint would literally pull weapons out of thin air and make them disappear as well.

On vormir, if you notice clint wasn't holding his bow anywhere on him lmao. It wasnt collapsed on his back or his side or anything. Then in his scrap with Widow he pulls it out of effin nowhere like magic.

He also collapsed it and put it away when he was running from outriders. I watched it a few times, he didn't just toss in on the floor. He did the motion like he was folding it up and putting it away. And like you said he yanked his sword outta the blue. So.... Im going to assume/chalk it up to Stark upgrading his gear with nanotech when he got back to avengers compound lol

It really does look great. I almost want to get two but I think I'll exercise just a bit of restraint and stick with just the deluxe.

Just watched Justin's review; really dank release. I wish the design would have had some purple in it, but that's not HT's doing. I'll definitely go deluxe when the time comes, whenever that is. I'd like to half half the design, hood back, unmasked headsculpt, bow set up. I really like the portrait as well. Justin's comparison segment really cements that.

He is an angry, defeated killer ninja who has lost everything and is hell bent on revenge against anything he considers evil. Of course his costume is dark/dank. They probably felt they had to accent the black with something and the gold trim and really the whole costume looks pretty perfect to me...

Anyone find any plain, natural light pictures anywhere? All I can find is light boxes and horrible photoshop backgrounds. This never bothered me before but with this and Ant Man I?ve realized I hate the blogger pictures and these early reviews with light boxes are starting to peeve me. Maybe I?m just getting cranky in my quarantine [emoji23]

Yea im thinking of aiming for best of both worlds. Full Ronin set up with the quiver on his back, sword in one hand and bow in the other. Maybe he was letting off shots when someone managed to get up close and he pulled out his sword for a little close combat. Will even put the mini crossbow on his Ronin look on as well. Whats the point of all that gear if you cant mix and match right? Get a nice dynamic pose on him.

Oh we just passed each other on the highway here, I mean the release is excellent all around. Dank has taken a connotation to mean cool or bad ass, I agree it looks excellent.

All that to be said, some dark eggplant purple would have flowed in there either way, I think, while still retaining the aura of the outfit. His armored chestplate and some of his gauntlet sections could have had some dark purple panels as a parallel to his old suit.

I think a little Legolas inspiration would go a long way in crossing some bow/sword poses as well.

Justin has got it right. Best Renner sculpt to date. Great figure all around and it is worth getting 2 to display both outfits. Great release Hot Toys.

Difference of opinion obviously, but I think the CW sculpt is the best one of Renner to date, although the EG proto of Renner is probably the winner.

As suspected, the final product is different from the far superior prototype...

At first I was on the fence, but this photo serves as the final nail in the coffin. I am absolutely OUT! No chance I am picking up this botch job...this is Chadwick-gate all over again!

I found this pic on FB. Sure the angle is SLIGHTLY different, but there's no denying the final product is downgraded for sure. Heck, the head shape, specifically where the shaved part meets the hair part is essentially one piece now on the final sculpt! There isn't even that separateness to it...ugh...

If u r goin to judge it by how close it gets to the proto, that's fine. Yes, there is a noticeable disparity...NEVERTHELESS u cannot deny it is a fine sculpt regardless. A DAMN FINE SCULPT
