Yeah Preds are awesome. They should put them in a new Star Wars film, just for the hell of it, they could hunt down Luke Skywalker or something, killing anyone in there way. It can't be any worse than the last 3 ;)

Nah, James Cameron needs to get back to his roots and hook up with Stan Winston Studios to do an Aliens vs Predator film. That would kick ass :yess::yess::yess:

Got berserker and falconer, now bring on tracker!!!!! <a href="https://s913.photobucket.com/albums/ac340/AARON691983/?action=view&current=Picture045.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="https://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac340/AARON691983/Picture045.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Tracker next then Classic (still waiting for official announcement). This year is great for predator fans. :yess:

I think were definitely getting the classic, HT just seem to love making Preds & Iron Man's :)

Insanely good setup:yess:

Ok, so I decided to try removing my Falconer's bio today, and if it seemed too hard to be able to do it I would just leave as is, but oh well, I'm too wilful and don't give up until it's done :p .

I must say it was a lot harder then I expected and mine had too much glue on the left side of the head (as you can see on the respective photo where original paint is missing), which made it even harder. The left duck mouth part was also too glued. I understand HT can't give them a full face and had to make the bio unremovable, but they didn't have to glue it so much. They could have made it easier for people to remove it to customize the figure's head, I don't think that would be against the license...

Anyway, it took me an hour and a half. Despite a bit of paint chipping where I had to unglue it I was able not to damage anything (except one of my fingers, but nothing special, :lol...). The bio has a black piece in the mouth part which holds the duck mouth (but glued) and I broke the left tip, but it doesn't matter, it's not even seen. And if you want to be able to place the bio above a true mouth you'll have to remove that black piece it anyway. Probably I'm not going to remove it, whenever I display it with the bio I'll use the duck mouth. I don't know, but it seems a lot harder to remove, it would have to be cut I think.

I used a cutting tool (don't know the name in english, but it's on the photos), to help me unglue the glued parts.

Now I'm gonna need the 2 pairs of mandibles plus the upper and bottom mouth pieces.

BTW, I don't recommend to anyone doing this, unless they're: patient, cautious, really willing to give it a face, are very careful with the cutting tools as you can really hurt your self seriously. Also, I recommend poping of the head from the body first.

The glued parts are: left and right on the upper part of head, plus the whole duck mouth area. Check the photos and have a good laugh at the smashed Warner Bros./Acme head pose :D .

Oh, a warning: careful that you don't unglue also the neck by accident, mine was starting to unglue during the process, so I was careful not to force it, and had no problems.

Here's the rest of the photos.

"Ooohh, I'm gonna get you!" :D

BTW, I forgot to say that in the end was thinking this is one of the things that once done one thinks "man, I don't want to do this ever again..." and then a thought comes to my mind "Tracker Predator! Oh sheet..." :) .

It's called a retractable utility knife, mistakenly called "XACTO knife" by many, even though that is a brand name.

Have you started the painting process?
I'd like to see those pics as well.
Good job. :)

Thanks :) . In Portugal we actually always call it x-acto.

The painting will probably take me some time, as I can only do it on weekends and I'm not an expert on that, but I'll give it my best shot with acrylic paints. I plan on following the body colors and patterns. I'm going to check the paints I currently have to see which paints I'll have to buy. Then I'll start the painting process. When this is done I'll post photos, but I'm sure it'll take a while.

You used a small box cutter. Shoulda used an exacto knife. Easier to do precision cutting.
And remember, always cut away from yourself.

I only have 2 of this. The other one was bought on a hobby shop and it's better, but I ended up using this one, which is worse :p .

No worries, I'm used to cutting carefully without hurting myself. The hurt in my finger was from forcing the bio tips against it, not a cut.

I would definitely not recommend that any kid do this, only adults.

Capella, I am a kid and I did it. :D

Mandibles are coming along well, I have two sets, just need to putty them up. Mods, I am not referring to recasts, but yet custom parts that will better one's figure.

Just don't extend the blade out to far or it'll snap on one of those lines, and you'll most likely need stitches :horror

Just be careful and good luck :clap

Good luck with yours, too.

A "kid" with "elder" in his user name .... good irony :clap

The face looks fine. Now on to the mandibles.
The painting usually is the longest process. I'd expect you to take a long time with that.
Great job so far.
