curious on which figures were numbered?
The mms140 scarecrow and demon batman had a certificate numbered to 2000?
the mms13 batman was 1100?
which other figures were numbered? and seems as if there not legit, with scarecrows and demon batman on market, now all sold separately, also I've messaged ebayers and they have opened the box but not seen the certificate. WTF???
will hot toys eventually number there figures? or mass produce until the market is over flowing with each figure :lol

I think Hot Toys gave up on limiting there production a long time ago. Or rather, it used to be made in smaller numbers but now Hot Toys has gain a large international popularity that the production numbers are no longer just limited to 3000 so there's no point in numbering 10000 pieces since it's not that limited and it's rather time consuming.
Even for the exclusives, there's a higher demand now that it's not just limited in Hong Kong conventions and SideShow. Exclusives are also available in places like Tai Wan, Japan, Malaysia, SDCC, ect. It would be awkward if the first batch of 1-1000 is for Hong Kong where the lucky numbers like 777 or 888 is never going to be found in anyplace outside Hong Kong since it's the first convention the exclusives will hit.

The 10th Anniversary figures had stated edition runs, but not certificates indicating the specific edition number of a figure. The old Superman Flosi refers to, and first Batman Begins Batman I believe did have certificates with the figures (I don't think 2-in-1 did). I think the first Jack Sparrow had a certificate, without an edition number, which was weird.

Other figures with stated edition sizes were some exclusives, like the Iron Man with an ed. size of 15 or whatever, and some previous con figures. But some of those are misleading, as one of the Predators and Angelica had runs to meet demand after a stated size was released.

Ok, yea I saw a review on the mms 140 10th Anna of scarecrow and demon batman and they had a proper certificate with a number on it of 2000. Also the mms13 batman I seen had the same thing. I never knew until 2 days ago and wanted to know how many other figures had these certificates. I like them :)
