1/6 Hot Toys : "Fugitive" Predator (2018)

SEMI-SPOILER ALERT:
Caught it last night. Didn't have any expectations really, especially after reading up on the leaks and reshoots. So I was positively surprised that it was pretty decent. BUT, only for around 97% of the film. Because there's 3% (and you'll know where, when you watch it) that absolutely rapes and curb-stomps everything the film tried building. Unbelievable.

I think Shane Black thought he was still on the set of Iron Man 3 when he was finishing this movie...the ending is really wtf.

saw the movie. I liked it but was definitely some areas that could have been done much better. Relating the post to the actual thread though, I will definitely get Fugitive predator if HT makes him. I thought he was badass in the movie. I just HT fixes those elbow joints

Same here, for me he’s worthy of being added to my 1/6 collection. I wonder if they’d consider making the Ultimate Predator in 1/6. Him being 11 ft in the movie I wonder how big he’d be at 1/6? Any guesses?

“The Predator” is by far my fourth favorite Predator film. Good action if not mildly confusing in the end when the big battle is happening. Good R rated humor. Horrible wig on the main actor at the end for what I’m assuming is the additional photography. And that ending in the lab should have happened to the main character and not some day player actor. Also, the kid character at the end totally forgot he was “on the spectrum.” B+ overall. I’d love to see the original cut on Blu Ray before Shane Black did the reshoots where the Predator was fighting with them. I’d rather see a new P1 at proper height and new Dutch than these new figures.

If I had to venture a guess, I’d say around the same height as Ultron Prime.

I'd say roughly about the size of Hulk figure give or take an inch

Yeah your right it doesn’t but I think (hoping) Hot Toys only used that base as a quick fix for show at SDCC. I’m hoping they give him a new base [emoji16]

Yeah, I’m also hoping that they don’t use that base for him. However, if they do, I have other figures that it would be suitable for and I’d just use it on one of them.

Predator wise, Wolf, Berserker, or Classic, for instance. If they give it more of a sandy look like the Chirrut Imwe deluxe base, then I could use it on my R1 Shoretrooper.

I agree, I think it would be cool to have a base that reflects the inside of the spaceship floor

Was all set to watch the movie today on my 1 day off from work, then my daughter got a fever so I can't take her to daycare. Had my ticket all bought and paid for too... sad day.

I'll only buy the fugitive predator since he was the ONLY good thing about that **** show of a movie.

This was by far the dumbest Predator movie yet. And yet it was still quite watchable in that so bad it's good way. I'll consider picking up the fugitive predator, but would really like to get the super duper predator + predhound.
