If I just fog the dome and use the spare hands to correct the second thumb, I can definitely live with this.

the head inside dome is all wrong.
not only "eye" shape. the silhouette at all.
well, if HT really get interested in going into canon, they'll fix it. this head looks like something they produced before, i've already seen these "angry eyes" somewhere.
the only question is if they find it out or not.

I wonder how poseable it is. I know in the first movie the Alien didn't have a lot of dramatic poses, but I'd still like it to be an option.

I actually REALLY like this paint scheme.

Too bad it won't look ANYTHING like that coming from the factory.

Now that I look again, I realise that they've gone for my less favoured dome shape, the same one as Neca did. I much prefer the larger head, as per the Giger museum statue.

Yes that's right DSD. I had to take a look @ it a couple of times. Well the color is ok for me. Personally can't stand the "angry eyes." A clouded dome would make it better. But the front part of the head/mouth really needs to be improved.

p.s. f* the brown color. if HT were so interested in making an "exact copy", they would do an exact copy. all their brown color goes from their "hot toys 1/4 alien bust", i think.

p.p.s. almost perfect body on HT photos, except color. fingers may be fixed, but overall seems cool. previous attempts of other producers seem a lot more schematic.
so why the hell is it so difficult to make an alien head? i don't understand.
