I sold my DragonballZ figuarts on eBay and made enough to jumpstart my collection. I have a friend that comes over often to play "what's new in the case this week"
I pick up figures at my local comic shop too. I found a Thor from the first movie in the box for about $120.

It doesnt surprise me! The figuart line is worth a ton, there are plenty of figures that go for 200+ and some that go 300-400.

Yes the sdcc goku sells for around 500 now., the crazy part is that these are 6 inch figures that are 35 to 40 dollars when they come out.

Same here, figuarts got me into collecting, ive sold almost all my spares to get hot toys but i will never let go of the originals. Still got an extra trunks and saiyan saga vegeta i might sell to get thanos and gamora. Just waiting for the damn drax to come up for pre order.

This is amazing to read all of these about figuarts! I've been collecting toys all my life and have swapped and sold and changed collections several times. Few things have stopped my constant changing of collections, legos, minimates, gifts, and hot toys. None of these items leave my collection. Recently a friend of mine got me into Figuarts, AMAZING figures but I lack the care for the subject matter (DBZ). So after buying a bunch of them I waited for the AoU lineup announcement and decided to sell them.... Holy crap do these have inflation resale value!!!! Paid about 400 total for my collection, sold them for over 1300, which was enough to cover most of the figures I was wanting.
They just keep rising in price, there very popular. I was lucky to buy almost every single Dbz at retail, and currently own all. *Bragging* hehe. But yeah there great to start off with and with there New Aou line is going to be epic. hopefully we see a GOTG line.
So is the difference between the EX and non EX is the potted baby groot? because on the pics for non EX I still see potted groot in there.

EX comes with 2 potted baby Groots, one with the arms, and one where it is just the stick from when Rocket first was holding him.
