Hot Toys - MMS 253 - Guardians of the Galaxy - Groot

If you are right, and I sincerely hope you are, I will buy the set in a heart beat. But I can't see them only asking $160-$200 for Groot. But like I said I hope you are right

I too would buy that in a heartbeat. That'd only be like 10 bucks more than the Cap two pack. Or is it 20. Something like that

These both look great! They've put an impressive amount of work into very non standard figures so far. If I dig the movie it will be hard to not get these guys!

After looking at the team uniform, I like Rocket in the orange suit better. Face looks great, wish they threw in another head with an open mouth snarl but HT's probably saving that for another release to steal more money from us. This guy certainly needs more guns, c'mon HT...

I'm sure I'm the only one but I have zero interest in the movie or the figures. Haven't read any of the books and a tree guy with his rodent pal (along with their other cohorts) seems really corny to me. I have no intent on watching this movie and the trailers don't look like anything special even if it's made by the Marvel Studios hype train.

I agree. I just am amazed that some very vocal people seem to be getting overly excited about this movie and especially the silly talking Racon. I just don't get it. The costumes are boring to me also.
