That is a good way to put it. I like everything else about it. The suit, gun, sculpt. Now for Groot... Groot is perfect, lots of amazing pics of him in this thread.

Just caught up here and I saw that someone a couple of weeks ago said they had a problem posing and balancing Rocket but I didn't see anyone else make mention. I was always concerned because of his small feet; I thought they weren't a sturdy enough platform to balance the figure. Is he able to hold poses without the stand or is the stand necessary?

Really really enjoying this release from Hot Toys. The detail on Groot is phenomenal! And I thought I would hate Rocket, but inhand he also looks great! (And looks great with the group) Not mad at this offering at all

Errr! You guys have parasitized my brain into thinking I want all of these with your incredible pictures. I really want Groot now. What's the consensus on Rocket? Is it a worthwhile purchase or will we see a reworked version in the future?

It seems most people are finding Rocket better in-hand than they expected (I really like him and it's not a character I've much interest in). I'd also recommend getting the 2-pack because of the extra headsculpt and clenched fists it includes for Groot.

As for being reworked, both will see at least another release or two since GOTG 3 is on Marvel's roadmap. Likely all the releases will have something everyone wants but I'm gambling that I'll be happy with this set. If not, I can always sell and get the new set later.

But Rocket seems to be more like a cheap toy. Cause of the plastic, I guess... I'm thinking about waiting for the next Rocket
