Are these hands at all compatible with other (cheaper) bodies? I love the hands as it adds so much realism to the figure. But not all bashes are in need of 38 points of articulation. I am hoping to assemble a figure for only $50-$100 and I don't see it being doable if I have to buy a TT. I'm thinking either fists (if they make them) or relaxed hands for this specific figure.

If they're not compatible with anything right outta the box, is there a way to modify it without super glue? I'd like to maintain articulation. Thanks!

*bump*

I purchased a head and an outfit for this particular bash after finding them for reasonable prices. Can anyone answer my question so I can proceed to shopping for a body?

Thanks!

You can usually mod them to work... Sometimes you need to make the opening in the hand larger, other times you might have to find a way to glue the hand to the wrist joint (can often be done w/o loosing articulation).

Although honestly TrueTypes are becoming more plentiful so you can often get a loose one w/o spending a lot of money. Another option are new DiD bodies. They can be found for around $10 and some of the newer ones have very good hand sculpts (just avoid the older bendy hand ones).
