HOLLY CRAP!!

I just got Hellboy and I must say this figure is BAD ^^^^ING ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn it. now I gonna have to get Abe! I am surprised at how bad ass Hellboy is! I think its my fav Hot Toys figure I own! The material and attention to detail is ridiculous! Seriously, this is one ^^^^in' sweet ^^^^in' figure!!!!

I got Abe just yesterday and the thing's already falling apart!....the team patch peeled off while I tried attaching his head but a little bit of fabric adhesive and it's good as new!

I got fed up with HB being so short so I added an ankle extender, and now he's the same height as Abe. Looks alot better to me now.

Nice shots Darkness. I've got to agree with you. This is only my third Hot Toys figure behind Batman and BR Joker, but this thing is amazing - it has easily become my favorite in the less than 24 hours that I've had it. I was a bit on the fence, just because I tend to prefer the books to the films, but no Hellboy fan should be without this figure.

Here's a few shots I took last night. I also posted them in the 'All things Hellboy' thread, but this seems to be the photo thread of the moment.

I would love to grab Abe as well, but he might have to wait for bit.

I added leg extenders too, looks much better.The only bad thing about adding height is the trench coat looks a little too short, do you have the same problem?

You guys have gotta post some comparison pics. Show us how he looks now compared to other HT figures. I've been planning on doing the same thing when I get my HB.

Here's a few pics of Hellboy with leg extensions. His trenchcoat looks a little short now but I don't think it looks too bad. What do you guys think? Comments & ideas are welcome.

I used the bottom leg/ankle part from a cy girl type of figure. I pulled them out of the lower legs, trimmed the square peg connector of the extension (ankle) part that inserts into the bottom of the leg & wrapped teflon tape around the square connector for tight fit. The bottom part of the leg/ankle connector already had a hole for a ball joint, so I wrapped teflon tape around the ankle ball joint that came with Hellboy to fit tight in that ball joint hole. It snapped into place fairly easy. That"s pretty much it!

The pics look great Cajun! I think the trench looks fine, IMHO the SS version looks like it would drag on the ground. I usually use the ankle extenders off of TT bodies myself and just pop them off the TT calf and flip them around on the figure that needs height. It pops right onto the ankle peg and the existing peg can fit into the peg hole in the boot, but you'll probably need some Teflon to make it snug.

Bought hellboy and abe today for the GFs 30th bday in June. Dying to open them myself but will hold back!

Any advice on their assembly? Toys2 said be very careful with hb's range of movement.

There is no assembly. Open him up pull him out and stick him on your shelf. There's a pamphlet, detailing the range of movement in the arms, behind the black plastic tray.
