That last pic of Hellboy and Abe looks like Abe is being a clingy boyfriend.

I don't know what you mean-

Hmm - I was thinking of a caption more along the line of Abe consoling HB on the fact that his gun went limp again, at just the wrong time.

Kinda sorta off topic but it is a pic of Abe. Been experiemnting with HDR. It's where you use software (in my case Photoshop CS3) to combine multiple photographic exposures to make a whole.

I started off with a bracketted set of 7 different timed exposures from 1" to 15"

Hey dedguy, I noticed you're using the SS Hellboy pants on your HB. How are they working out for you? I was thinking of trying the SS pants on mine too, but thought the old SS ones looked somewhat cheap, so I didn't.

I think they look much better than the Hot Toys ones. They fit better and are made from a thiner fabric so look better overall.

I'll give it a try and see how they look. I love this figure and the only 2 things that are minor issues for me about this figure are: the pants look excessively padded and his height seems a bit short.

I went off on a bit of a rant on OSW but basically my opinion is as follows: 12" tall is about 6' scale wise. HB's a bit over 12", not a lot, but enough to make him the correct scale to Ron Pearlman in the role. Sideshow (and even slightly older HT figures) imo are generally out of scale. They are too large. Medicom, Dragon, and older BBI figures are more in actual scale. The Sideshow Hellboy is like 7' tall scale wise, Hot Toys Jack Sparrow is similarly out of scale, although not as bad.

Hot Toys with their recent figures (Ironman, Hellboy, Predator, Michael Jackson) seems to be starting to correct for scale. Even the more recent Sideshow Pro bodied figures seem to be moving to correct for scale. That's just my opninion but my math seems to support it (then again my math could be wrong).

I totally agree with that. I have always thought SSC's buck were way oversized for most of their 1/6 figures. (SSC did hit off their first 1/6 with frankenstein, perhaps that has something to do with the height of the buck)
