Those are fan choices for the voices.

This. It's all just speculation in that article. All we know now is that the voices for the Dark Order CGI characters will be familiar to our ears.
Did they keep Spader as the voice of Ultron a secret back when that movie was coming out, I can't remember?

Didn't Thanos look better in Guardians of the Galaxy?

Probably looks better in his armour. But he still does look pretty good here with his pals.

No, he was very widely advertised as Ultron.

I keep thinking Fiege’s hint at the voices makes me think the might be dead previous MCU actors/characters. So Spader could be one of those if that is the route they are going. Rooker could be another distinct voice. Weaving maybe? Atwell?

I can’t see the advantages of keeping the voice actors a secret unless they are a kind of spoiler. Usually a studio wants to advertise EVERY big name actor in the film. So if these are going to be clearly recognized voices, why hide them?

I think having previous MCU actors voice the Dark Order would be distracting. Also, last I heard Weaving hated being in CA:TFA and want's nothing more to do with the MCU.

About the armor! Avengers 4 SPOILERS

Since some leaked photos from the set of A4 showed Cap and Thor with A1 armors, i guess they are going back in time. In the past Thanos was rocking a full body armor (GOT/Credit scenes/etc). He will add the Gauntlet to his armor in A4 :)
Of course i’m just guessing, he could end A3 with full armor + IG ...

Just watched an older Optibotimus review while I'm waiting on more info on this newer Thanos. Nice review Optibotimus !

Interesting that his height/scale doesn't look quite like in the trailers. I know the perspective is difficult in the screen shot, but I wonder if they'll review the height and size to be a bit bigger ? Probably not, as they'll no doubt use the existing tooling as much as possible. Looks like he needs to be another half head taller at least though.

Also hope they do something about the inner elbow joint to make it not so Hasbro looking. Possibly seamless arms like Hulk and Thor !

Easy purchase for me. Not sure why all the hate for his new look. Not saying it’s amazing, but I don’t get all of the hate for it.

Hoping we get two head sculpts for this guy. This will probably be my only purchase from the IW line considering how high everything is already priced.

That elbow was a ******** move by Hot Toys. They should have known better. I think it's because of the stupid throne. Since he needed to sit on it they he needed arms that could hold a extreme bended position.

To the people who have this figure are the head and neck one piece? Can never tell because neither Hot Toys or customers post pictures that show the neck joints on figures.

That's an insult to Hasbro, they would've sculpted detail into the joint that would show no matter what position it was in.
Seamless joints suck, if people want no visible joints on a figure then buy a statue. I need possibility in a figure and longevity, you can only have that with exposed joints.

Like I been saying. Not everyone buys these dolls to play with. Some people prefer to sacrifice some articulation for a figure that looks more realistic.

We already know Thanos will have seamless elbow joints, similar to Hulk from this pic:

Nothing on the previous figure can be re-used since it is entirely sculpted armor with no actual body underneath it. I hated the bland emotionless face they gave him and I'm hoping for a more expressive sculpt this time I have always felt the 1st Thanos figure was way too small. Since we never had any proper reference to scale in the movies before. Where that figure was about a head taller than Iron Man, in the trailer we can see he should really be roughly 2 heads taller maybe 2 1/2.

Good pick up on the seamless arm. I personally like the more realistic look. But can also appreciate others who want a lot of different poses. I think I'll be going for lightly bent arms looking tough with the gauntlet on.

Yeah the height difference is tough to judge. In the trailer Thanos does seem to be on higher ground based on how much of his legs are showing. But the camera angle also doesn't help.

Hope they do make him a bit bigger. However I guess Marvel must have modelled him for the movie CGI, so I imagine rough dimensions would have also been given to the toy companies (also for the throne version). :dunno

The solution is simple, it's what I suggested way back when before the first HT Hulk figure, multiple arms, one set seamless, one set jointed. Sideshow did exactly that and it was a win for both groups:
