Wow! I never realized how awesome these Hot Toy items are! Great detail!
hmmmmmmmmmmm.......... :devil

Ok, this is insane. This thing has been "shipping soon" for almost a week now. What's the frakking hold up?

I know, right? Come tomorrow it'll have been a week since they billed us. I think this is going to have to be the first and last time I ever order anything from Slideshow.

It aint Sideshow, it's Hot Toys. I thought I was smart ordering the Mark3 direct from Hong Kong. I thought the dude was trying to scam me. He reckons he wont have it in for another week or two. It sucks.

Hot Toys sucks with these dribs and drabs shipments. The Mark 2 is going out in three separate lots. Does that mean it could be another 3 or 4 months before everyone has theirs? Just says 'in stock' on their site. They ought to give details of when these three shipments are due. "In stock' what a load of baloney.

im still waiting!! froms razors or forbiddenplanet-which ever comes 1st! 8 months waiting and counting! if HT announce a dx ironman within the year (which i doubt)-i think i would spontaneously combust with anger!! i dont mind the wait if it comes in perfect condition working lights etc!-theyve had months to fix any cc issues! so many have opened their MKIII 1st batches to find dodgy lights or bits of missing or loose armor which i find a joke!-when we are charged what we are (a weeks wages give or take a few £$ in some peoples cases!?) for what is essentially a plastic/rubber figure-they should arrive in perfect condition!!

Sideshow's response to me seemed to imply that they have all of their stock and are just slow as hell getting them out of their own warehouse.
Our shipping department is working to get these orders shipped as quickly as possible. Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email with your tracking number.

How do you think Sidehow got them so late. The buck stops at Hot Toys. It's Hot Toys that leave Sideshow to languish till they decide to send them their shipment. It must be part of the distribution deal they have with Hot Toys.

That Sideshow response is what I'd expect as an almost automated response to a 'where's my stuff' enquiry. Nothing there implies they are being as slow as hell at all. They certainly wouldn't have the time to track down your particular article to give you a more accurate answer.

I realize that it took Hot Toys two-and-a-half months to get Sideshow their shipment, but Sideshow sent us a "Shipping in 20 Days" notice 37 days ago; first of all, they shouldn't have done that if they weren't dead-sure they'd have the things. They finally started charging credit cards a week ago, on April 2nd. The figure was listed as "Now Shipping" on their April 3rd Newsletter. All of our orders have been updated to "items shipping soon" for a week now, and SOLIDSNAKE claims he got an actual shipping notice several days ago. So by all accounts, Sideshow's had the things for a week.

I'm sure a week seems a long time to you, but consider several containers coming from China, and these 1/6th figures amongst them. The first things to go from a warehouse, that just received a shipment, would be the larger items, to make room.

It's not like they held them over to do later, but more likely that they happened to be processed later than expected. Anyway, it's almost there for you, I have the better part of another month to wait for mine.
