I've always appreciated the character (along with Namor, I just dig the underwater thing) and actually liked JM in Justice League. He's the only part of that movie I liked. Really looking forward to the movie (along with SHAZAM!). Very surprised I didn't get this figure as I always thought I would in the highly unlikely event of an actual Aquaman movie. This head sculpt wasn't quite there for me. I liked the outfit on the new figure better, but it does need tweaking and he head sculpt still doesn't "wow" me, but I think Doctor Strange as spoiled me. Glad people are interested and buying this thing though, hoping for more and better for this character over the next few years.

Is it safe to say this may actually ship this month? Rarely have I pre-ordered a figure and not gotten at least 15 emails saying it has been delayed to another date. There has been absolute radio silence on this one though.

It's not released in Hong Kong so zero chance Sideshow will ship it this month. If it releases late this month in HK Sideshow will get them out just before Christmas..otherwise don't expect it before 2019.

HT have pushed every DC figure to the back of the queue it seems.

Unless they go with the current Star Wars and Marvel trend of dual releases and then who knows when they will be coming out.

I wouldn’t say that, sideshow seems to be getting figures at the same time as HK these days. At least with Marvel figures....

Since I've never bought a Marvel figure I didn't know that. Would be cool if the same started happening for DC figures!

It’s a rather new thing, and no one really knows why. Some have speculated it has to do with impending tariffs, and other speculate it is because Sideshow has a high cancel rate after buyers see the official release pics early in Asian that don’t meet their expectations. I have no clue if either is true.

Did Hot Toys put the DC in the backburner? Im seeing all this Marvel figures being released that weren't suppose to come out until next year, like Thor , Hela and today Loki.

It does look like everything Justice League is sliding to next year. October is almost over and no Flash or Aquaman.

Well, I see October has come and gone and no new info has popped up. I really hope we something soon.

I’m HOPING they’re holding out for the movie to come out and drop it in December during the hype so people buy this before putting the movie version up for preorder.
Either way the last few months of exhibitions and releases ALL being Disney Star Wars and Marvel figures has been infuriating. I’m glad so many new companies like ToysEra and the like are coming along making figures people who don’t want 5000 Iron Man suits will actually like.

Yeah I know its pretty ridiculous, I've been waiting for tac bats myself for quite some time and still nothing. They just seem to be repainting and re-releasing figs nobody really cares about instead of giving us the ones we want lol.

Yep, super bummed about tactical Batman. Ordered it as a graduation present for my little brother. Seeing as that is in less than a month now I doubt he'll be getting it in time.
