About two years ago I decided I wanted an Aquaman for my collection.
I was hoping that there would be a new version from the latest Aquaman film produced, and was disappointed when it appeared that Hot Toys would only make a Black Manta.
After thinking about it for a while, even though I like the comic based colors of the figure from the solo movie, I just didn’t like the execution all that much so I didn’t pick one up.
Overall I decided that I prefer the appearance of the Justice League version. I think the headsculpt of both versions could be significantly better, but I really like the detail on this Justice League figure and it is more colorful in person than I thought it would be.
This guy arrived a few hours ago. I was lucky enough to pick one up for $160 which I think is a great price.
