HOT TOYS: Lost Predator Predator 2 Poseable Model Kit

There's no way I'm moding mine (well, appart from the dreads), as I said it seems strange at first to have a Pred without those few items, but he looks cool just the way he is to me. Mine will be displayed Sans mask but the staff/spear is so cool I'll indulge him with being a little 'less' than movie accurate.
Perhaps he hasn't earned the right for solo hunting yet, lets face it having a small nuclear bomb strapped to your arm is quite a responsibility, and untill you get good mask to plasma cannon coordination it's probably best not to stroll around on your own spacecraft practicing!

BUT it could all mean what you said that hes ( intraining ) but it could also mean hes so bloody good he doesnt need those items for hunting.
plus the whole p2 clan are something special in my eyes because they look so different to any other type of predator ,

These Preds are totally awesome... dunno why I didn't start a long time ago.

I guess I forgot about them for a while, and focused on other stuff.

But nevertheless... It begins with this guy.

All the extra preds in P2 are called "The Lost Hunters" because the suits (Modified P2 suits) were thrown away after filming. So they were "Lost" forever.

I really hate how they are doing the eye slits on the mask right now. On the prototype they used a smooth surface but on the actual product they have the net pattern. They did the same for the Wolf Predator. It just looks cheap.......

They should have done it like the P2 mask which was smooth transparent. If you held it under a light you could even see the net pattern. I'm sure P2 owners know what I am talking about....it is much better than what they are doing here.

Here are pics of old masks (they are composed of two pieces. The eye piece is a separate piece). I'm sure they are shying away from this method because it is cheaper to do them as one entire piece.

Well there has been a lot of confusion regarding additional parts to be shipped.........
I believe my dealer is wrong and that there isn't going to be any additional neck collars. I found this on toy-world and it looks like they provided the wrong elbow joint. So anyone who has already received their Lost Pred check to see if your elbow is green or yellow.

Just looked at the mask Darren, the leses are a sepperate piece, but its not transparent at all when held up to the light.

So no collar then, it's no biggie as it looks fine to me without after moding the dreads to fall closer to the head.

Thos pics rock. I can't wait to get mine. I used to be bothered that he wore that tarzan loincloth, while his armour looked high-tech, but the spear is a good compliment to it. Guess he'll be posed with the spear

Same with Wolf.. 2 pieces but not transparent. I agree though.. I like the P2 lenses better.

I guess the term I should be using is "lenses." I like the fact that the P2 mask has lenses on it. It should look smooth from the outside and not have actual grid marks sculpted over the eyepiece.

Excuse my poor explanation skills....this is what I meant with the P2 mask. When you shine light on the P2 mask you can see the grid pattern that is not obvious without light. It just seems cooler this way. I hate how they actually sculpt the grid pattern directly on the Wolf and Lost Pred mask.

I see what you mean now Wooks. Just took out my Wolf and his mask is also composed of a separate eye-piece. It's just that they didn't use a lens with Wolf.

I had thought that the Wolf mask was entirely one piece with the grid pattern directly sculpted on. What I really should have said was that I prefer using a separate lens piece (like the P2). It is a high-tech mask after all and would look much better with lenses IMO.
