I was surprised how much of Lost/Borg is not reuse, even the head is a different sculpt; now that's attention to detail! They could've very easily have reused the battle damaged Pred 2 head and called it a day but didn't. The mandibles are the same sculpts as BD Pred 2 though, but look wider because of the new head's sculpt. I like the mask, but it doesn't really match the rest of the armor so I'm keeping it off. I was surprised how much it looks like the Queen Alien's head, I hadn't notice it until it was in hand.

What's this skull supposed to be? It looks almost like a Predator skull but slightly different. Maybe a distant relative or something?

Overall I'm very happy I got him, but I'm just about all predatored out. I'm glad there's only one more left for me to collect, and it's the best of them all. A fitting end to the 12" HT Preds.

sideshow never sent me a calendar... that would have been cool.. i guess i might have to call them and ask them to send me one...

It seems to be a random thing. I know sometimes when others have gotten a free gift card, DVD, or catalog that I didn't receive one for the same type of order so it's not uncommon.
I think perhaps Sideshow keeps a tab on who's received what for free, and tries to not resend the same item like they used to so often in the past, or maybe they just ran out of calendars before they got to your order.

oh, i see... still sucks! lol... their customer service reps are really nice so i might just call and sweet talk one of the ladies :)
 
I just got mine today as well from the local dealer!

Got him since you lot have been saying so many positive thing bout this dude.. Will post pics when I'm finish with him.

mine is arriving tomorrow. still not looking forward to assembly. so, did everybody decide on the best way to fix the dreads?
i know the hot water thing should work, but is it permanent? is it much harder to stick wires in it? what's the deal?
 
putting the wires in is quite easy. did it to my Lost and P2.
not possible to ruin the figure with it.
its permanent.
you can control them by the wire which is alot better.
be prepared to waste up to 2 hours of your life (first time might take longer).
 
Oh yea Lost is an awesome pred. Love his chest armor. Wish he had wrist blades. Still. Massive awesomeness. You guys are just getting the Lost from CSC? Did they just get it?
 
Got this bad boy together last night. I am not happy with the way I have the thing tied around his waist so I need to spend some more time on it but otherwise he is very awesome!

sounds like it's worth a shot. is there a certain type of wire i should or shouldn't use?
is there a decent tutorial i can look at so i won't ruin this thing?
 
Yea I don't think I'll ever really put the Boar Bio on the Lost. It just doesn't belong to him. But they both display very well separately I'm relieved to say.
 
OK!
finally got this thing in the mail and it is now assembled.
as expected, it was a nerve-racking pain in the ass... but, totally worth it.


oh, and the hot water/hair dryer thing didn't do squat for the dreads.
so, i'm gonna have to find some wire to stick in them and, somehow, not tear them up.

courage.
