That was one of the plot points in Smallville. Jor-el visited the kent farm a few generations back and realized just how noble they were. It was no accident he ended up in Smallville under their care.

Some had said the day before the movie hits theaters. I am still fairly new to what day of the week they usually do reveals or announce new items.

The wait for these is painful indeed. The costuming looks to be some of the best work they've ever done. Hopefully the sculpts match.

I really hope they get the cape right on this guy. It definitely has a different texture than something like Batman or Thor.

Ie, hopefully it's not stiff as hell (I'm looking at you, DX12).

I really, really hope they put a wire in the cape like they did with the CR Superman. I want to pose him hovering, so I'm praying he has a wired cape and a flight stand. I can get around not having a flight stand, but the cape is going to look **** if i can't pose it while he is in the air.

I stopped watching Smallville after 5 seasons. I thought it was a great idea for a show but they spent so much time in teen angst and will-they-or-won't-they Lana Lang romance. That is an intriguing plot point. Maybe I shouldn't have given up on the show so soon.
