lol. yeah, the Overdose on Iron Man reveals seemed to have Hot Toys fatigued.

I think it would have been smarter of them to release the PO before the movie came out, not after. Iron Man 3 is a great example where they announced suits that had 2 seconds of screen time and that affected people decision on buying it or not when the movie came out.

Hopefully the reveal it soon.

I don't think they got burned with Iron Man 3,they just picked weird random suits to release.
The fact they also introduced the "diecast" and "power pose" series might have hurt them.
They're releasing War Machine MARK II and it wasn't even on film.
I wonder if The Mandarin will even be really released or will it go the way of Green Lantern?

I just think their timing is awful.
Look at The Amazing Spiderman,the second movie will be out sooner than the original figure.
At least try and announce the figure with the movie,if possible.

They might really be waiting until SDCC. Hope not, but it's possible. Actually, it will probably be some random day between then and now. I'm going to see it tomorrow and I'm hoping it rocks. If the movie is lame then I guess all this anticipation is pointless anyway.

Unlike The Green Lantern it doesn't require any crazy engineering; and if teaser pics are genuine than a prototype already exists.

Just got back from seeing this one. Loved it. And after watching I have to expand my wish list by 1. I now want Jor-El. Crowe was awesome. So I'm down for at least 4 figs HT!

Crazy engineering? His suit is pretty much basic. The only thing that might require a bit more work is the constructs if they included any. Green Lantern just was a movie that not a lot of people cared about and I'm sure after Hot Toys saw that people weren't big on it they probably just let it go.

Man of Steel was a great movie and this is coming from someone who was never a big Superman fan. Great new take on the origin story and a refreshing modern take on Superman rather than keeping the character stuck in the past. I really can't wait for Hot Toys to announce the figures. I'll definitely buy the main cast (Superman, Jor El, General Zod, Faora).

HT initial excuse was that they want to make the suit light up which was the supposed cause for the delay

Its probably the same reason why the only light up Tron figure we got was stuck in a static pose.

Yeah, same issue for Tron figures. Of course, I think most of us would have been fine with some kind of reflective fabric or something instead of nothing.

Ah I see. I'm sure the underwhelming performance and audience reception of the film didn't help it's chances at getting figures either. That movie was a pile of crap.

I'm thinking more and more that they're not showing anything because nothing is ready yet. Look at the teaser. Could be a photoshopped picture of a movie still.

They released it because they see there enthusiasm for this line and want us to quiet down, but they've put so much in Iron Man that they failed to see this could be a cash cow too, and now they're delayed.

No reveal yet cause there's nothing to show, period!

it could still very well happen tonight. I mean last I recall, official pics go up pretty late in the evening. usually around 2am if not later in my are of the US

I dunno. From France, it usually happens during the night and I see the pics when I get up.

I've just gotten up! Nothing! The big reveal won't be today I guess. Maybe SDCC as some have pointed out. In any case, they screwed up their timing on this one!

Well it's barely 12am here in Texas and usually it's still about 2 more hours or so before a reveal for me at least from when I see them on their FB page. Robocop didn't go up for another hour or so and Roadblock was another 2 hours before it went up so it could still happen. I'm just happy that at least the PF went up today
