If you release Superman first people will not be interested in the lesser known characters. If you release someone like Jor-El first, people will buy it as a "filler" while they wait for what they really want.

yep I agree. But at times, it could also have the adverse effect of, if no one buys Jor El b/c they're waiting on Superman, HT may use that as an excuse to say that the line is not doing well.

For Wolverine too. The only CBM's assured of getting figures are IM3 and Thor

Maybe they'll treat MOS like they did Returns and make a bunch. They made Supes, Jor El and Clark ( and of course the 2 in 1 ). We can always hope.

Don't let the recent trailers influence you, I am sure Hot Toys as big plans for Superman considering the already teased 2 figures from the movie.

True to Hot Toys form they will flood us with everything related to the upcoming movie to capitalize on the hype so it should be no surprise the next figure will be indeed from IM3.

I am not sure about Wolverine considering the have not picked it up yet maybe they are waiting for people to purchase X3 wolverine in order not to cannibalize sales before the decide to make one from the latest movie.

Still don't understand what the hold up with Professor X from First Class?

I'd be totally cool with 4 from MOS. Add that to whatever they make from Thor 2, The Wolverine, IM3, and whatever older projects come out, and 2013 will be as good as or better than 2012.

I certainly hope HT does Zod and I think it's a pretty safe bet they will. Not sure if I absolutely need them to do Faora. I'll probably be much more excited for her once I see the movie and see what she brings to the table. I'm glad to see at the very least DC Collectibles will have the Zod and Faora statues as they could be decent replacements if HT doesn't do them. Not the same thing I know, but I think they look pretty good. Hopefully HT does do them, though, and I can add them to the collection as well. I'm Starting to get anxious for some reveals. I know they could be coming any day now which is making the wait a little bit harder.

i do wish the "belt" stood out a bit more. Either more yellow (classic look) or more red (new 52 look). Right now, though, its pretty much nonexistent

I really like the suit (not more than the classic, but if you feel you HAVE to change it then this is cool).

But I also liked the Routh suit when that movie was coming out and now I hate it, lol! Makes me wonder what I'll think of this in 5 to 10 years.

Much like the new bat's suit it'll probably just depend on of I like the movie or not. Hated that until seeing tdk, now I love it. Liked the Routh suit until seeing superman returns (which I didn't like) and now I hate it. Lol!

The Cavill suit has the classic hallmarks though; the huge old school 'S' chest symbol, the draped over the shoulders cape with the wider neck line, the classic boots - that all helps solidify it's look.

I agree though - there should be more of a belt there if they're going with the motif at all - otherwise it's a bit pointless having a 'drawn on' one. Then again, there aren't any briefs to hold up this time, so..

That said - Cavill looks the part, & the suit is pretty sharp.

Can't wait for the HT figure - & I say that genuinely.

Suit looks good. The only non-Batman (or villain/supporting character) HT figure I own is the Reeve Superman...I may have to make another exception depending on the quality of this figure (and the movie).
