Yes, relatively speaking that seems to be the least-loved of all the video game suits shown to date. Hopefully the Classic & Anti-Ock suits are released next.

Hope Hot Toys also gets the Miles Morales Spidey PS5 license.

I'm not a HUGE fan of the Morales character but I like his suit. Also, the PS4 Spidey game was missing some key alternate outfits:

-The Black/Symbiote Suit *My new #1 most wanted after the Classic and 2099* - My guess is that the Symbiote and/or Venom might also be part of the storyline in this new game
-The 'Ben Reilly' Spider-man 90's Suit (I actually REALLY like this suit..fresh take on the classic design)
-Superior Spider-man Suit

I'm guessing we'll see these in that game, as well as some of the suits we had in the PS4 one (so you can be the "Parker" Spider-man again if you want)

I assume all three of those suits (definitely the black/symbiote suit, based on **SPOILERS** Spider-Man PS4's end credit scene) are being saved for Spider-Man 2 on PS5. The Miles Morales game is less of a sequel to Spider-Man PS4 and more of a standalone expansion of it that focuses on Miles. There will probably be some Miles suit variation options in his game (such as at least a couple suits from the Into the Spider-Verse movie), but I doubt all of the Peter Parker Spider-Man suits from Spider-Man PS4 will be in the the Miles Morales game or any new Peter Parker Spider-Man suits will debut in the Miles Morales game.

But I could be wrong, of course!

Just the miles morales title so far, but given the sales, reception and the mini sequel its a lock.

I suspect they are waiting until the Avengers game is released so they don?t overshadow themselves. Once the hype from that game subsided then they may announce the sequel. Although it could be after the Miles Morales one too.

I think this guy and the Anti Ock suit will go up for PO this fall and probably around NYCC.

Yes, rest assured they're working on it. Miles Morales was a win-win, smart move by Sony/Insomniac. Release a launch day console seller game just 2 years after Spider-Man PS4, as they're able to because it's a shorter game with similar assets, so that consumers have a new Spider-Man game to play all while not taking much time from the full on Spider-Man 2 being developed.

They aren't mutually exclusive, it's a full standalone game while having a shorter story. Just like the comment above me said, think Uncharted Lost Legacy. No way they would have been able to produce the full on Spider-Man 2 sequel in just 2 years, I'm glad they're doing this. More SM for us to play while we're waiting lol.

Yeah, sticking with the Uncharted comparison that Insomniac made...

According to HowLongToBeat.com, the average time it took to beat Uncharted 4's main story was 15 hours, while the average time it took it beat Lost Legacy's main story was 7 hours. The average time it took to beat Spider-Man PS4's main story was 16-1/2 hours, so I'd expect the Miles game to have a 8 hour story (10 at most). I'm sure they'll be a bunch of side quests and collectibles to pad out the play time (like Spider-Man PS4 had), though.

So I hope this isn't a bad pattern we're seeing of game publisher creating "half-games" for console launches. Yes, I know we got COVIDness going on as well so that may have played a part.

But are they going to charge FULL price for what potentially amounts to a "half-a-game"?

No, it's rumored to be $40 and bundled with a remaster of the original game. Of course that isn't confirmed yet though. Plus console launches are every 7 years, this isn't a pattern we have to worry about.
