My guess is that maybe they wanted Bubniak back. He asked for more money and Insomniac/Sony said "Nah".

Or Sony/Disney said "get someone who looks like Tom Holland".

Instead they got this Ben Jordan face actor to do the new mocap. Ok cool, but they made him look EVEN younger!!!! He looks like a high school kid and in the game he's been Spider-man for like 10 years!

It looks like Miles and Peter are going to be after the same high school chicks!

Man, that Lim Toys Peter head sculpt I got for the eventual release of this figure just went up in value! I'm even more glad that I purchased it now!

Not a fan of the change at all, and I don't buy Sony's reasoning for the change one bit.

Geez that new Peter is awful. Looks like the kid from Modern Family. I really hope that we aren't going to be stuck with this new Peter for the rest of the series.

Doesnt bother me at all but its not an improvement over the previous version. Is the garfield suit coming to the ps4 version or is it a ps5 exclusive?

Just seems stupid that the "Anti-Ock" suit would take priority over this one, as far as release goes.
There would be a crazy amount of day one preorders for the Classic Suit compared to that thing.

A lot of the decisions HT makes seem stupid to me, but The Howard works in mysterious ways, and we are naught but lowly thralls. :lol

For the foreseeable future at any rate, this guy and Snowspeeder Luke and I'm done. This company bores me lately.

The company doesn't bore me at all, quite honestly. I just wish they would be a little more diverse in their licenses
and recognize the popular pieces they show by getting preorders going quicker for them.

Well that's just it. Their strategy is frustrating and their lack of diversity leaves me bored. There's no question that as a general rule, they're best-in-class but I just don't care about most of their well-executed but repetitive product. I'll enjoy what I have and appreciate that it got made, but I'm clearly not their target market. It is what it is.

That's why it's in this order, more people would buy this suit after anti-Ock compared to buying anti-Ock after this suit releases.

Says the guy with an Iron Man avatar... :lol

I'd say they cater to your preferred character just fine! :rotfl

I'm in no way a completist. I'd prefer a variety of licenses over all the weird Iron Man variants -- of which I own none! Marvel and Star Wars are great, but too much of a good thing...

From Sideshows recent NYCC Spider-Man figure.

Yup, that suit looks incredibly resistant. Don?t think dynamic posing will happen. Jesus Christ hot toys, use cloth on the blue for god sake.

That seems to be the runny moto for Hot Toys and ALL of the Spidey figures.

Lets take one of the most extreme posing character and make all his figures with very limited clothing material. :cuckoo:

They had it right with the Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure. I just don't understand why they went with this weird basketball material for all the figures.
