Why did they pick this costume? Is it his only one in MGS3? I've never played MGS3 so I have no clue... just doesn't look as cool as his previous ones...

No, from what i know Big Boss is in a Diffrent Suit most of the Game, and he finds the sneaking suit in a locker

It's a ____ing ugly outfit. The torso might be able to get away with it, but those legs are an eyesore.

Yeah, I also don't like this Sneaking Suit, but at least there is that phrase "Sneaking Suit version" in the photos. Looking forward to the Fatigue version. Any variation (Tiger stripes, Jungle, Splitter) will do for me. :clap

would love to have a figure of this battle damaged

If i remember correctly, they picked it due to the uniqueness of the suit and to offer something
new. They do have a point and it would look better together with Boss's sneaking suit. And there's
high possibility that there will be another ver. for snake (i'm actually hoping for the OD camo)

Hell, just come out as a DX with 2 heads and 2 camo

Thanks for the info. I think this will be a definite pass until the pick a different outfit. The safety orange and the rubber suit just makes it look like a weird interpretation.

This is Hot Toys people :lecture

Odds are more in favour of this being it for the line :( i pray for the opposite though

You may be right their superhero stuff is killing licenses like this its a shame really.

I'm not so sure. They did conduct a poll a few months ago. But, while the polls don't usually mean anything significant for Hot Toys, it at least show that they're still paying attention to the MGS license.

I agree with earlier comments about this particular 'sneaking suit'. I don't remember this suit in the game (I've only played the ps2 game). Any other camo would've been an instant buy for me. Is this suit different?..yes. A must have?.. Unfortunately for me, no.

Head sculpt looks incredible though. Too bad about the suit.:monkey2

This is the suit that Snake got right after he escaped from the torture chamber. It's not as iconic as any of the jungle camos, but he wore it when battling Volgin, the Shagohod, and The Boss. Officially (official, according to the art work from Shinkawa, and the ads from MGS 3DS) it's the very last suit that he wears in the game.

Doesn't the bright orange kinda go against the idea of a sneaking suit? :lol

Have you ever had to hide in an ice cream factory? These bright contrasting colors are the perfect stealth tool and I am certain that is what the developers were going for.

But yeah it certainly is an ugly outfit and the more I look at it the less I like it. I might just skip out on both purchases and if Hot Toys never makes another Snake then hell I'll just track this down since it probably won't go for much on the aftermarket anyway.
