The head is like a mix between a real person and the MGS3 model. I was talking more about the sneaking suit.
I get why they didn't do a tiger-stripe first...its very plain. Fatigues and some straps

It's plain thats for sure, but so is the T800 leather biker look. That figure gets made because it's iconic for the character, but so is Snake's Camo, so they really have no reason not to do it.

I would disagree, the leather jacket is more intricate than the fatigues. Also Snake has more iconic looks than the fatigues

No he doesn't. That's the iconic look for Naked Snake :dunno No one actually cares about this silly sneaking suit.

I think that's the precise reason they went with this Sneaking suit, as Big Boss' mission clothing of choice has changed from 100% fatigues (MGS3) to 50/50 sneaking suit/fatigues (PW) and now looks to be more Sneaking than fatigues (GZ)

Honestly, guys, I wouldn't expect Hot Toys to ever do a single video game accurate headsculpt (with the exception of the later games). Hot Toys is known for their extreme detail, they're not just going to make a sculpt of a few fuzzy pixels. If they're going to do this, they're going to take it all out. So, blending the game's look with a realistic human look to make this look was, in my opinion, the best idea. I think it looks great. That's exactly what I would picture Snake to look like if he were a real person. Also, it looks a lot like the Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes Snake... I think they nailed it, guys. As for the suit... it IS the suit I had him wearing since the moment I found it, and I seem to think it looks better than a lot of you guys do, so I'm very excited for this guy... He could very well be my first Hot Toys. Only real problem for me is the materials, is this guy made with rubber? Does anybody know? I wouldn't want a rapidly deteriorating $215 toy.

The PS2 gen Snakes were defined enough if HT did wanted them to be game accurate. Heck, both Snakes even had some minor imperfections on their faces. In this case, I can't see why they just didn't go with Naked Snake's PS2 model.

I know I've mentioned this before, if they ever do MGS2, just boot up "The Document of MGS2" and HT will have all the reference they need. We don't need another Peace Walker Snake lookalike.
