For anyone looking toys 2 has the metal gear solid 4 snake in stock and they have the metal gear solid 3 camo snake in stock with the alligator head for 300 both snakes are medicoms.

I hate to say it, but Medicom did make a better looking figure of The Boss.

I'm a bit torn about the Hot Toys figure. As a Metal Gear Solid fan I really want a complete set of 1/6 scaled MGS figures. But, as an avid Hot Toys collector, I just feel completely underwhelmed by this figure. I might just purchase the separate clothing pieces on Ebay when the figure is released, and kit-bash my own version of her. Something more accurate, and to my liking.

^ my answer would be to buy her to support the line to garner future figures, you may very well love her in-hand.

If not sell her off at least you'll still have shown HT MGS is a money-maker

According to the 2005 listing, Big Boss is 192 cm (6' 3") while the Boss is 178 cm (5' 10"). So wouldn't that make this height difference pretty accurate in that notion for the figures?

Relative to each other it is somewhat accurate, but the problem would be The Boss relative to other Hot Toys figures.

Could be,but i judge from the game itself how they look beside eachother.

Boss has a slight lower stance than snake here so yeah they are about the same height.Another part i compared the two were from the cutscenes when Snake was being held hostage.

Yea they did but it's just a poll it means nothing.

They said t since the announcement. If it was just MGS3 it wold have stated that from the beginning!

I wonder if they will make her cloak to look how it did in the game, kind of had a high-tech almost carbon fiber look to it. Or if they will take the easy way out and just make plain old black fabric.

Either way I'm glad they are including it.
