Is the Boss's head really out of scale, as mentioned in the Naked Snake thread?

Well, head looks pretty nice and proportioned to Naked Snake.
So this is def their generic stunted body with Asian like proportions that makes this figure look like a doll in a suit.

I think you're confusing Hot Toys with Medicom. Well, historically speaking, female figures have never been Hot Toys' strongest point. They managed to hit the mark perfectly before with the Jill Valentine figures. But, they missed it again with The Boss as her proportions are definitely off (as well as her face).

I can't speak for the battle suit version, but do you own BSAA Jill? It's not a good figure. Not at all.

:lol:lol:lol not me but HT themself.

Yep. In contrast to male, female char is much harder to manage and produce as the action figure so it seems like nobody givin a damn about perfectin this area and just doin business. That's sad cuz female figs is a perfect area for the quality competition.

Really? I thought the BSAA one was good... I don't own it but I do have the Battle Suit version, and it's fantastic - a true representation of Jill, in my opinion. It looks perfect.

They look amazing :yess: :yess:

Was hoping to see the outfit zipped up, but at least there's SDCC for that... I hope
They look good displayed together, but HT should really develop a larger female body. The Boss is too short compared to Snake when she should be roughly the same height.

Yeah, totally agree on the size of the Boss that's going to have to be swapped out when I get mine.

I'm not familiar with the various 1/6 female bodies, what's good that's one the market. I know the Eva is supposed to be hot ____ but I can't find any (though haven't looked very hard). What are the other good options out there?

And I'm definitely going to modify that sneaking suit IF it doesn't zip up and buckle, though I think it will, because I want her displayed in Battle Mode ready for combat, I know she did it in the game but to me displaying her like that kind of cheapens how hard/badass of a character she is if that makes sense.

Get it dude

:goodpost: As is always the case for Hot Toys releases.. pre-order them, then if unhappy, sell/trade them away. It's better, rather than chasing up an already-released figure in ballooned-aftermarket prices.

According to the wiki The Boss should be about five foot ten so wow they really did mess up big time with her short height on this figure. She should be as tall as most male Hot Toys figures if not taller.
