Not bumping this thread or anything, but i just saw the promo pics of the new Black widow
and imagined how the Boss could have been presented better with similar representation of

What annoys me is no pictures with the suit zipped up 
I've got a few things on order, one is gonna be getting the chop. I'll wait for in-hand pics and if the suit can't zip up then it'll be her

Same here but I think the suit will zip up dont know how it will look though I would have prefered someone else

They didn't show any pics of BS Jill Valentine zipped up, but you CAN zip her up all the way. It's how I currently have her.
I kind of feel like Hot Toys did a bad job overall with this announcement and such. I do not doubt the figures will be great, but it is hard to get excited for them. We were kept in the dark for so long and then suddenly they just kind of threw them at us, using the general least favored look for Naked Snake and then a rather lackluster overall The Boss figure. That and it comes out or at least is supposed to come out during the hectic November-December time. It makes it hard for me to really get excited for these anymore.

I agree, a long long long wait, two figures and nothing further while Avengers gets 6 in a row at a third of the waiting time
Not to mention if these don't sell well HT will mistakenly think the line isn't worth continuing when if they don't it'll only be because there is so many other figures coming at the same time that people will be choosing between them.

At least they didn't pull a "Watchmen" and make Raiden and...Mei-Ling first.

No comparison there mate. The Marvel license is a cash cow for them. All of the "newbie" 1/6 collectors I know started buying HT Marvel figures, so it's proven that HT Marvel appeals to both long-time and new collectors, and this license attracts new collectors.

With there being teeth all the way up her outfit and a small zip, im sure it will zip, there is even a small little clip one one her straps so im sure you can buckle them together too.
Im just dissapointed in the Headsculpt, i know its done from a video game image but there are high res pics of her and she does not look that bad. The davy crockett missile and carry cases are a nice addition..just don't think i will be dropping £170+ on her, just Snake for me.

We think it will but still need the pics to see it , head sculpt needs work .
Not just the head-sculpt, but the entire body. It's too short (when The Boss is roughly the same height as Snake), and the proportions are just too masculine.
As much as I'm a MGS fan, I just can't convince myself to pre-order this figure. I'm definitely getting Big Boss though.
I am trying to have a "do or die" mentality with this figure just because I know this is probably all The Boss will ever really get as far as official 1/6 figures go. She obviously is going to sell like mud so there isn't much hope for a early MGS3 variant with how she appeared at the beginning of the game. Even if there was, I doubt Hot Toys would bother modifying the face and body much. Actually...that's exactly what they would do, thus rendering this first purchase incredibly pointless. Oh boy it makes me want to bother with it even less.
