Hot Toys Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater - The Boss

I don't know.They changed Superman and Thor but no figure from HT has ever gotten as many complaints as Indiana Jones did,and they did nothing to change that.Why should they change Boss?

It would be such a Hot figure if they changed it,i would go absolutely nuts.

Their female Resident Evil characters in the past have looked great if i remember correctly,Sheva was impressive.

I think I'd easily pay $140 for a custom 'The Boss' head scupt if it looked exactly like this:

I would pay a hundred, max. So i dearly hope that HT will do something about it.
Got a question, any idea on where i can get a white 1/6 horse to display with The Boss?

Quite frankly, I think they have to do something to fix The Boss. In terms of the inaccuracies, this figure just trumps Indy in every way possible. Incorrect height, incorrect proportions, and most of all, a head-sculpt that looks nothing like her.

Even Game Informer had some scathing remarks about it.

Unless changes are made, this is bound to be Hot Toys' worst release. It's just a shame that it had to be an MGS figure - something that many of us were looking forward to.

Then there's The Boss. I can't even look at her. Whenever I do, I burst out in laughter. That's probably not the desired result Hot Toys was looking for.

The Boss comes packaged with the Michelin Man's pants, Kobe Bryant's knee brace, Jean-Claude Van Damme's face, and a weapon from Wile E. Coyote's private stock. It's too bad she doesn't come with a head-sized box.

Game Informer is bad. But, I think some of the biggest noobs are on the Official Playstation Forum. Trying to educate them is just a lost cause. I remember one guys in particular who believes that Play Arts is the epitome of collectible figures, and shrugged off Hot Toys and Medicom as "Barbie dolls" just because they have clothes . I never ever go there anymore, as the MGS forum is pretty much dead. It seems to be just a club of 5 guys posting to each other everyday and arguing about nonsense.

I understand all the nitpicking, but there will be no one else who will release a Boss figure. Still optimistic that Hot Toys will attempt to improve her sculpt.

I totally agree there, no one else at the moment is gonna release a quality The Boss figure as Metal Gear figures in 1/6 is a rarity at the moment...

Yeah. Now that I realized it, looking back to Medicom (who released a lot of MGS3 figures in the form of Snake in different camo fatigues), I am surprised that they did not release a Boss figure.
During those days at the height of Snake Eater's popularity, Medicom The Boss figures may have sold like hotcakes compared to MGS4
Old Snake, or even the MGS3 non-Croc Cap Snake versions.
