God that body is ugly. I'm assuming it's the Female TT they use for most of their recent female figs... why does it look so bad here?

Waiting to see if it can zip up from in-hand pics. Still have my order in, but that'll change if it turns out the suit can't zip up

I wish they'd fix the uni-boob.
In addition to the manly face, the way that her boobs are, makes it seem as if she had a bad surgery for a sex change. I hope that Hot Toys feels the need to make a "Boss 2.0" with regular green fatigues, and improve on the sculpt (as well the boobies). Although, they should have gotten it right this time around!

I'm not gonna get annoyed just yet, i'll wait for in-hand pics before deciding if they half-assed their effort with this important character or did a great job. But for know i'm not liking the sculpt or chest

i wish they would just zip her up suit up already. i'm probably alone on this, but i prefer the boss' head sculpt to naked snakes sculpt, his sculpt just seems way off.
the boss was never a feminine character in mgs3, she was a brute of a woman so i can accept that she looks the way she does.
the problem here is that they based the sculpts off of the 3ds renders rather than the ps2 renders and it just got lost in translation i guess.

Theee ____kk??? Naked Snake is practically 99%.
I know right? The Snake figure is practically perfect when compared to the 3DS poster. The Boss on the other hand.......

There's nothing feminine (except the ugly big chest piece) about this figure and proportion are completely wrong.

And on top of it all, i dont think it is even "pending for license approval" on the HS like the new Spider-man. So if they really go with this, meaning both Hot toys and Konami have fail ~big time

Hot Toys needs to make "The Boss" and not "The Man" dressed as The Boss

As much as i love the character and want to love the figure, it's hanging by a thread. With so much coming from hot toys and sideshow and 3A, $215 is no chump change to lay down on something with so many issues
I feel the same way man. I tried to convince myself to pre-order this figure, but I absolutely could not do it. I love The Boss, but the reality is, that this figure just does not give her the respect that she deserves. I'd much rather spend my money towards another Hot Toys TDKR figure than this.
My only concern is, that if this figure sells poorly, Hot Toys might not be convinced to produce any other characters besides Snake
.
