This will show up in other channels. The Special Limited Edition that MILK is getting is only the 300 pieces that COMES WITH THE MILK LOGO BASE. Like the B/W War Machine, I am very sure there will be a standard release that will come with that Iron Man 3 base shown in the picture. HT's marketing strategy is going strong lately by creating a perceived demand and hype over these variants in smaller markets (Midas, Sleeveless Thor, now this Brokeback Tony) and then release it bit by bit to keep it "rare" so everyone feels that we have to get it coz "IT IS RARE!". Honestly a job well done to keep everyone on the hook....

The question is, how much longer they can keep pulling this trick on us? Everything now has 2 to three different versions... I was a completest type but nowadays I really have to think twice on ordering a figure coz I am really worry that there will be Ver 2, 3, 4, 5 coming...

yeah but some die hard fans will be getting this i guess, no offense, i collect hot toys and including iron man too,i have complete set iron man figure except some silly ones (midas, secret project, hall of armor) but i dont get it why should be this one comes out. its an easy easy pass without thinking, tony stark propulsion suit test can be displayed with the mark 1-7, and tony mechanic with bunch of suit in iron man 3. but this one? i dont see i can display it anywhere on my shelf

Secret project looks amazing IMO. Nothing silly about that piece.... Anyone selling one?

I'm glad it doesn't. I thought I read somewhere back that it's a very limited, HK-only release. But I have no idea if that's true.

I had one in my cart ready to go. Just needed to hit "continue" in PayPal but I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Just a really one-dimensional and unnecessary figure, IMO.

I guess we can hate all we want on this figure but this will be released eventually

For the proto pics, it would've been better if they at least showed several ways how Tony wore his "tie" in the movie.

At least Rose Hill Tony was in the movie for more than 0.7 seconds (or in the case of the Silly Project armour, not on screen at all).

yeah, i have gunmetal/silly things though the ones that im still keeping it. and im a bit dissapoint with it so i skip the secret project too. i get it, and ended up sold it 1 year ago it doesnt come out at the movie or comic so, and also iron patriot, i think what suit the best word for it is not a bad figure but silly character =) sorry for my choose of word. to disgrace for the iron patriot origin. it should be the bad guys and you know who it is, and didnt have the canon on the back thats what i thought. in the other hand i buy war machine mark 2. for midas, im planning on getting him after it doesnt comes out at "silly" price but i still cant decide where should i put him on my display. it will look weird with the others im 3 figures, because the other suit design is more complicated in lines and detail. yeah thats my thought of being silly, haha. another paint job of mark 7, less accessories and everybody sells it for around 1000$ 3 months ago in my country.

If they HAD to make a Milk exclusive annually, this is really the best of both worlds for me. Last thing I want is a character I'd like to be THAT exclusive. I can care less about this. People are bashing Hot toys for this but they could have simply made Maria Hill or Pepper potts the Milk exclusive and people will flip their ****, probably much more so than now.

Agree with this, people can hate on it, but as a very limited exclusive, it's hilariously smart on Hot Toys's part. My personal criteria for a good exclusive is something that should be neat to own, but should never be a must-have figure.

Well at least people who were complaining about screen time have no argument here. This version of Tony was in the movie longer than all of the armors combined.

At this rate of variant releases, soon you'll be able to reenact the entire movie with just hot toys figures.

2hrs 1/2 of stop motion Iron Man 3 with hot toy figs, im down for that

And I can say that I like the look but it's an easy pass, maybe pick up the wrist repulsor for my TS but other that
