Well, I couldn't find a pic of the film's exterior Falcon cockpit set with their feet sticking out which I know they did.

I'd almost like to see the cockpit as two products, the back and the front, which can be attached together. That would allow a lower price point for people who'd like to wall mount one of the orientations.

Indeed. *wipes single tear from cheek* Absolutely gorgeous and can't even imagine how nice it would be in person. This is definitely something where pics will never do it justice.

Getting the impression that could be the case, too. Just too much to lose, display-wise, by permanently foregoing one orientation or the other.

Can someone at SDCC please post approximate dimensions of the cockpit? I want to see if it will fit in my display cabinet that is 60cm wide, 50cm deep and adjustable height.

Just curious. Do "holy grails" usually go on sale?

If I recall, the Dewback did. Not sure that's a holy grail, but for it's time, it was certainly the most massive 1/6 SW display piece. That's the single only thing I missed out on that I wish I had snagged when I had the chance.

Man, that solo face looks great (the shot with him exiting the cockpit). The other shot, him piloting, looks a lot like their Indy. I wish they wouldn't have changed it.
