Whoa, I step out of the thread for a few...

Let me just wrap this up by clarifying.

Vodoun, I appreciate your pics (I've posted praise on several occasions) for the mood and drama they bring. You have a very unique style and I dig it. I like MaulFan's for the same reasons.

But I ALSO, appreciate photos like Tyler's (especially when the figure being photographed is a new release) that give you a crisp look at the figure under average lighting, and give you an idea of what it might look like in hand (something that is generally hard to achieve).

I have never, and will never put down anyone's photos on this forum. Taking/posting pictures of our stuff is a large part of the fun!

Just opened mine up. The figure is just as awesome as everyone says and the photos show. Top notch figure. I would say the best of the year.

MarfMaster, nobody was condemning tyler's photo(s) yet this posse seems to have chimed in for some reason. Just like the Joker thread when they are all busy condemning people for colour adjustments and if it's not that, screaming PHOTOSHOPPED!

Nor have I ever said, you can or cannot do this with your photos but once again this little posse blows it all out of proportion. Yet they always take things so super super personal then jump on the so called personal attack path or reverse it into the *hating* path.

Lately discussions have turned into something nasty from the least and simple little things and the little club posse all joins in to twist things to their ways.

Snake Eater, are you implying I'm a troll?

Not better then the T-800 in my opinion. T-800's paint application is quite a bit better then the T-1000 which seems more of a standard HT paint job, pretty much on par with the long hair slim TT paint application. Aldo Raine is up there for best of the year, great paint apps on that figure as well, similar to the T-800.

Damn, that is saying something. So better than the T800?

I think the overall likeness of the entire figure is better than T800. Plus like SS's GIJoes, he comes with a lot of accessories so there is so much more to do with the figure.

Unless Technoir T800 hits before the end of the year. . .

Ok, again, everyone just breath.

I can understand where there may have been some miscommunication.

Some people see and use the term "no-nonsense" to basically, no bull____, no crap, nothing I can't stand.

However, I do not believe Marf to have meant it that way but just simply used that as a way to describe Tyler's style.

A little miscommunication/misunderstanding, it's all good, the figure rocks, let's all enjoy him and keep the photo fun going.

It is def better than the T800 for me.

I would agree with you for the same reason evilface mentions.

As far as production qualities, I find them a tie, there's nothing really better about either, paint's equal, tailoring equal, likenesses are equal. The versatility of what's in the T-1000 package provides more fun as a collector. Without sourcing custom parts or getting more T-800s from T2, the one that's out now is very basic, it's just a sharp looking figure but the fun factor suffers a bit from lack of accessories.

I'd like to know what makes you think that, T-800 has a more complex paint application.
