just got mine this week. really a nice figure - after watching T:S on blu-ray this week, i'm glad i got marcus. i will post some pics later (like you have not seen enough already...).

one comment - the sleeves on my jacket seem to overlap the hands more on my figure than in some of the photos here. did you guys just hike the sleeves up a bit to show the hands and wrapping detail more?

Same problem here. I just hiked up the sleeves some, yeah. After a bit of adjusting it looks okay.

Would have liked to have gotten this figure but with everything else coming out at the same time I just had to look for reasons to pass - none of them based on its quality. They really improved the likeness and the clothes are incredible but hes a one-off character in a film thats not much better than T3 so......

You are a strong man a-dev. Well the demand for this one has settled so prices are coming down ;)
It's so hard to resist and HT is not giving you much excuse to skip any of them as of late and I NEED MY FIX

"Common A-Dev, I know you want me and my twins over, just buy me now" (spoken in this rough, smokey Batman aeh I mean John Connor voice)

Would anyone like to send me their Marcus figure for free or something...is that unreasonable?

Worthington is probably going to be a big name with the films hes got coming out, I wouldn't mind having a representation of him in my collection and it might aswell be Terminator.

Who knows, when I get myself out of my existing toy debt and hes still available I might go for it.

a-dev you know if you were nearby I would so ...................let you visit my Marcus all the time :)

These are nice headshots, HT took a great initial headsculpt that didn't really look like SW and turned it into a great headsculpt that most definitely does look like him.

Agreed!! I never really focused on Marcus in the movie the first time watching it but this fig just totally turned me around :D
I am still considering to keep my extra Marcus head for in case I love the Avatar movie :) But then I am sure HT will come up with some means to make a new Sam worthy of the movie

My once steely resolve not to buy him is breaking down. However right now I really have no choice but to resist. Presuming nothing even more important comes out in the meantime I think I'll get him when I can.

Aehh that be tough :D

I am sure you got preorders just like everyone else on JC FB, DX02, IM BD, Tony Stark OMG
But this one You have to get TOO :D

How are you guys getting him to hold his gun in both hands???
I keep trying but the rubber arms is restricting me...Any tips?

Change out the body, I put mine onto a Narrow Shoulder True Type. The rubber arms are neat for coatless, but otherwise you have no idea and his poses are limited by them.

You're right about the first 2 but the other 2 I am also presently resisting! Tony Stark looks incredible, I don't think the likeness could be any better for 'serious' RDjr. I may end up preordering him even for the likeness alone - I'm not massively into Iron Man and only have Mark III. I'm slightly encouraged by the fact its not out till april according to toys2 which would give me time to recover some cash. Even so I'm going to hold off as long as I can till my existing preorder list shrinks to nothing. Right now its the smallest its been in a long time:

DX batman
John Connor FB
Wolverine
TDK Interrogation room diorama
NECA T2 Final battle 12"
Star Wars Hasbro AT-ST
Star wars Hasbro ESB basic figure wave

Unfortunately by now I owe a fortune on all the stuff thats no longer on that list!:banghead

The musle arms are a nice, "neat" feature, but utlimately, they lose posability for a visual you're not likely to ever really see, you can't see the arms through either jacket, and not likely many people would have him in just his tank top. Had they done hard sculpted arms like Wolverine, that would have given looks and function.

Dutch was the same. If you're displaying him with the jacket you're better off putting him onto a normal true type body to get back full poseability.

Yeah, at least with Dutch though, shirtless is almost more iconic than with it on, but with Marcus, he had a brief scene without either coat on and that's it, and the blue coat is so nice, I can't imagine not using it.

The rubber arm body was secondary for me. The first thing I did was pull the body and put everything on a TT. Here is a shot of mine.

Another key thing for me was removing the string tying down the collar to the chest of the blue coat, couldn't get the collar to look right until I did that.
