Well did Wolverine ever wear the jacket over just the wife beater with no button up shirt?

Then I don't see why pose him that way and rub his paint off :duh

Yup

Besides, I like the look. I'm not one of those people who will pose a figure a certain way only if it can be directly matched to a screenshot - instead I display them how I want to see them.

I just got mine today. Right out of the box without any posing he looks awesome. And I just love that we have Iron Man to set beside him! With today's announcement that Blade is released tomorrow, the Marvel guys are really starting to get a nice grouping. Here is hoping their Ghost Rider isn't far behind either, or Spider-man for that matter. And Hulk :drool

Its like slowly building a movie "avengers" team!

What happens when you pose the wife beater with the jacket? The paint rubs off?

It doesn't look like everyone has experienced this, but I experienced some staining of the rubber part of the body by the jacket. Rubbing a tissue on the inside of the jacket comes away with some brown for me, so it looks like the colour hasn't been set properly. The staining was pretty much instant, too, so I'd just suggest a bit of caution.

I had the very same thing happen to me, the rubber upper is really nice but it got stains on both shoulders. I love this figure, and because it is my new favorite something has to go wrong, it never fails. I really am getting tired of the rubber bodies that HT is making, but what are you gonna do.

lol Now with Resident evil , we can recreate 'Marvel VS Capcom 2' !!!:lol

( Still waiting for more Street Fighters figures, Medicom :monkey2 )

Don't know if this has happened to anyone, but are the elbow joints kind of hard to bend? Mine sort of are but I can bend them. I just don't want to bend it too hard and snap off the arm.

With the coat off or on? The coat really effects the arm articulation.

Yeah mines were hard to bend at first, still kinda are. But I think you should be fine. However the other day I was tryin to put them in a pose and the bottom half popped out!!! I thought I was gonna have a heart attack, but then notice that it can just pop right back in. I think these arms were purposely made that way.

Don't forget Thor the movie will be out next year, and I sure Hot Toys will be making a figure of that.

Plus with the Reeve's Superman being made, and Green Lantern movie in the works, we could have the JLA displayed as well :banana

Not sure what to tell ya then, my joints all move fine down to the bare body, it's only the coat that causes me any problems.

quick update:

theres a very minimum stain on the very top of the wifebeater on mine, after I took off the jacket.

mind you, I did not play or futz the figure a lot, so Im kinda curious to why theres staining when theres very little friction or contact, if at all.

I think the part that stains is the inner leather part, ones near the zipper area; not the satin lining. So I'd suggest you either put the shirt back on, if you wanna put on the jacket, or keep it off and just put on the wifebeater.

Good luck guys!

Well that sucks. But good thing I found out before my figure arrives. I was going to do the jacket/wifebeater look.

the jacket caused a little color transfer to the wife beater at the nipples!! :rotfl:lol:rotfl:rotfl

Keep the coat on old Logan boys because the man is cold!!:rotfl:lol:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Blade is out tomorrow??

I dunno how the jacket can stain the body. I have mine stored in the box at the moment but I can't see a single spot where the leather touches the body on him. It's protected by soft lining or the under shirt. It's how I'll display him too. Maybe take the shirt and jacket off to show the body.
