I could never understand people who likes statues and buy "action figures" as if they were statues..but then complain about visible joints or exposed joints :sick.. ¿¿??

Easy solution:If you dont like joints, then just keep buying statues...

I love action figures and never would buy a statue thinking that it could change poses, because it would be totally absurd and senseless

Decided to open him up today:

But as I was trying to replace his head, this happened to his neck:

That instruction pamphlet doesn't lie!!!!!!

Can you give us any insight as to why this happened? What's different about this neck post that the head needs to be turned a special way?

It's rubber and therefore the paint can be rubbed off very easily if you aren't careful. While I think the body looks great, I can't help but wish it were solid plastic as there'd be nothing to worry about.

Yeah, solid plastic would have been better...........

Is it just paint that's rubbed away?

I know sculpt would probably avoid the problem anyway, but I don't think it's so much that HT uses rubber but that they bother putting paint on where the sculpt will rub, they put cammo for Dutch on his neck, and you really don't even see it there anyway how so it's kind of like, why bother. I bet Wolverine would look fine without any paint on his neck.

thats awful! but thats what you get for opening christmas presents early! no i jest. is it noticeable with the head on?

:lol I know, I know! It's not noticeable if I have the head tilted down slightly........which is how I was gonna pose it anyway.

Yeah, its the paint they used for hair on his neck. Even if you were to hold the neck while removing/replacing the head, it wouldn't be difficult to accidentally rub some paint off. :(

does he come with his head attached?
If so why did you remove his head in the first place?

As Mando said, his head does come attached. And I removed it to get his clothes off and have a good look at him, why else?! ;)
Plus it made getting his dog tags on easier.

Is more of a problem of the chin rubbing against the neck rather than just touching it with your fingertips.

The sole reason for the included instruction on lifting the head before twisting the head, this is so that the inner chin/neck portion does not rub against the painted hairs on the silicone neck.

The rubbery material is certainly not thin, harder than that used for female TT or Dutch/Chris. The body underneath has the articulation points of regular TT but certainly not a regular TT shell. The rubbery body shell is attached to internal plastic body by 2 points that I can identify, the sternum and the back-bone portion of the upper torso. Neck has 2 articulation points, ball at the base of the neck and double ball on the based of the head... Plug the head-off away, I see no problems...

Single point articulation of the elbow, limits it to only a 90 degrees bend.
