Neither, Wolverine's an all new body type, hard plastic body with a rubber covering over the uppermost part of the torso.

To be more precise: PVC arms, PVC covered abdomen, Rubber/Silicone upper torso. Internals and articulation points are still mostly ABS plastic, using cheap solid PVC, hence the added weight compared to regular TT which is mostly ABS plastic shell.

As a ref. the hands/gloved hands/some boots of HT figures has always been PVC....

can the belt buckle come off and just be a regular belt?

this has probably been asked but I'm to lazy to go through all the posts.

Just like a regular belt, the leather/pleather is flimsy though and getting the buckle numb through the belt hole might be a problem.

Why'd they go with an upper torso rubber body and the rest plastic? Seems like all plastic would have worked just fine
Retain the shoulder and neck articulations... I'd say this is one of HT's fig which have the best neck range motion without leaving a large neck gap behind the jaw line.

The material used for Wolvie's red shirt seems very fragile (thin/low quality)

It really would've. The rubber doesn't improve the shoulder articulation that much as there's a pretty good range already without bending into the torso. Even if you're careful with the neck you're still likely to rub off the paint while moving it.

Pretty significant shoulder articulation is needed for this pose.... Partially due to the reduced 90-95 degrees single joint elbow bending. The back to front shoulder horizontal range is about 25 to 30 degrees. Enterbay's BL can achieve this pose too... but the body is designed hunched (shoulders foward)

As cool as this looks, I think I would need to keep the jacket on. For me, the wrist ball joint kills the look of the bare arms for me.

pretty sure most people do it in the morning

This year we're waiting until after dinner to open up our presents. On xmas eve we go to my grandparents house to exchange presents with the rest of the family, but my parents have always had ours in the morning.

Do normal people wait until after Christmas dinner to unwrap their presents.

My family do. I'm sure they make it up to torture me!

We did right after dinner this year but that's because we needed to leave to my mothers for another Christmas stop the next day on Christmas day.

I have it displayed in the tank top and I cannot get the pose. My forearms do not look like that, I think I have two (right) forearms.

Try that pose with chest naked and Check the elbows.....If they are in different height then you have 2 right or 2 left forearms :rotfl

I can achive that pose easily with my Wolverine...but dont try the same pose with the jacket on...This is impossible because the jacket limits the range of movement too much and ..besides you could break something if you force it.

show us a pic of the matching right forearms if you do not mind

Bandito,s pic could help::angelsmil

Check Wolverine pose on Bandito,s pic:

If one of the forearms would be wrong (2 right or 2 left forearms). obviously, one of the elbows in that pic would be facing up..(and not down)
