I had to use a long neck post (from TDK Batman).
I think he looks pretty good.

Like it but you really should nab the claws off ebay and swap them out man. Those mediclaws look so junky in comparison.

This works well, Im sure HT will do one in the future but I hope not before Magneto and Xavier. Mags, X and Logan would be enough for me, Mystique, Liev Sabertooth, Nightcrawler would all be bonus. Not sure I'd buy any others.

I would love to see a movie Nightcrawler. His costume was bad a$$.

Sent out for Flex pay to Sideshow just in case too much stuff hits me first quarter, I usually pay it up before the payments though after I know it's been shipped from their warehouse.

I saw this review on YouTube. It's pretty good so I thought I would share

Nice review. I was gonna dig my Medicom Wolverine out of storage when the Hot Toys comes in. I think a repaint is necessary for the Medicom now. I've seen some in the past, but if you plan on displaying both it would look better to either repaint the sculpt or get another Hot Toys head to swap over.

I would but: 1) The prices for the claws on ebay are INSANE! and, 2) I prefer the length of the Medi claws.

I'd rather have someone who Wolvie could square up to next, like Sabretooth, rather than one of the old guys. Movie Magneto doesn't really sound like an exciting figure to me.

I agree.

HT hasn't offically announced anything except a Marvel license. Assuming Magneto is a figure in their movie lineup, HT needs to consider Mystic, Sabretooth etc. McKellen was great as Magneto and pivotal to the movie however, he is not physically imposing(at 90). IMO a 1/6th scale version of McKellen next to 1/6 scale Jackman isn't exciting unless they offer other's to balance the lineup.

That's why I think there's good chance Wolverine is first for trilogy figures, out of all the X-Men films, I think it's safe to say Wolverine is the most marketable character, and by Hot Toys' pattern, they'll stick with strong sellers.

Sadly, Schreiber Sabertooth is the best 1 on 1 combatant for Wolverine and we won't likely get him.

X1 - Mystique and Sabertooth
X2 - Lady Deathstrike
X3 - Juggernaut, The Phoeonix (though not much of a combat)
XO - Sabertooth, Gambit, Deadpool

I agree with Schreiber's Sabertooth and I have accepted it won't be forthcoming:(

Magneto would be a good bet but from the list I can see Mystique and perhaps Jean (Phoeonix). I forgot about Juggernaut, he would be cool be even less chance than Schreiber in 1/6th scale.

It will be interesting to see were HT goes with the Marvel license.

Got mine today, might have John Connor Final Battle this week too so a good toy week for me.

Wolverine is as great as I knew he was from the beginning. The claws are a thing of beauty - if only HT could manufacture the T-800 endoskeleton like that. The clothes are simply stunning and a great fit. The headsculpt is excellent - its a good approximation of Jackman though not perfect - it is most definitely a great Wolverine headsculpt, kind of like how 2in1 Superman was a good Superman headsculpt but not much of Routh was to be seen. However detail and paint have come on since 2in1 Supes and this is therefore much better relatively speaking.

I haven't stripped my figure down to the vest yet, I'm enjoying the fully clothed look too much at the moment to do so. However I already love as much that I can currently see. The upper body build is ideal although I have seen those pics where the waist is too skinny. Not that much of a big deal to me as I'll never be leaving him bare on top.

All-in-all I love it. I much prefer the casual X:O look to the X-men superhero look. Could just be because its an old figure from Medicom but I think that X3 appearance is just silly looking.

A perfect assessment of a great figure. Wait until you see the new body developed for Wolverine, tank top all the way!

Not for me bub! Any sign of a joint sends these things straight into toy-ville IMO. Otherwise they look damn near real. Next time HT should do the painted rubber, but with the concealed joints like Dutch,

And i totally disagree about Mckellen not having presence, Him, Jackman, and Stewart are the only ones that have the ability to send shivers with their performances. He was absolutely bad ass as Magneto.

Tyler Mayne, Ray Park, James Marsden and Halle Berry send shivers too, shivers of shame every time they are on screen.

Liev Sabertooth and Grammar's Beast are two characters from pretty weak overall moves but they both were great enough in their respective roles to earn a purchase from me if offered up
