No, HT likes to plan releases to not conflict with other figures, odds are their first Trilogy figure will be Wolverine so they won't announce that until this one's all shipped and they'll get people to buy both.

Haha yeah, thats actually what i was thinking about with this one, wondering wether to get it or wait till they do the trilogy. But im seriously tempted to pick one of these up. Looks pretty impressive.

Depends on what your feelings are for the character.

I really enjoy Jackman as Wolverine, this figure offers the more casual Wolverine look, and hopefully HT'll do an X-suit Wolverine so you have both of his core looks covered. If you have a preference, it might be worth it just waiting for them to release a trilogy figure if that's what you really want.

Yeah that was kinda my thoughts at first, but im starting to love this casual look, and the tailoring looks really impressive. And then once the Trilogy versions come out with the X-suits im sure i'll want another. Haha. Would be cool to have a few X-Men in their X-suits. The kinda uniform look with them all together. Or at least the few they decide to make.

I have a nail brush that looks like it could pass for their revolutionary new hair technique, so nothing special about that.

Buttons? Glad you brought that up Ski. :lol The buttons are just black dots stuck on. It's probably better to remove them and reglue them properly yourself, if you want to be on the safe side.

Finally getting this figure on Friday, just got my shipping notice from Sideshow.

Bout f'n time!!!

Too bad this figure is on waitlist, I'll probably buy it from Viking Playground or from Alter Ego.

It doesn't look exactly like Hugh Jackman but it's pretty damn close. The body looks great and each picture I see makes me want to get it more and more.

What I've found is the figure does look great.

It doesn't look like Jackman, but it's a nice enough sculpt, and can easily be imagined as a Wolverine. The jacket is marvelous, though the lighter leather areas are too dark. The shirt doesn't imitate flannelette nor does it have a pattern. It's more silken and the material is close, if not 1/6th scale, and has the right colour. The singlet has odd panels on the flanks. The belt and buckle are incredible. The jeans resemble denim extremely well. Again, the material used has such a fine weave as to replicate denim in this scale, with the bonus, as with the shirt, it falls better on it's own. Why no cigar? I found the arms to be a bit limited.

Overall, I'd say the clothes maketh the man, and in this case the Wolverine. This one has a nice body to go with it.

This is a shame usps is the worst mailing company i recomened that no one ever have somthing ship from them, my package has been in dispatch for 3 freakin weeks and those losers tell me the same thing, that i need to file an investigation. Seriously if you wanna package delivered that you payed good money for go fedex or ups.

It doesn't look like Jackman? It looks dead on to Jackman sorry creech. HT nailed this one pretty damn solid.

The singlet has odd panels on the flanks.

I assume you're referring to the tank top here.

I thought the panels looked odd when the figure debuted, but then I looked at photos and the real shirt is a mix of panels and ribbing.

There's a fine texture to the panels on the real shirt, but they're not ribbed like the chest and back. The figure is a more pronounced contrast, but they were right to have it that way.

Just got him today and have to say he's definitely in the top of recent HT figures. Ironically also arriving today was final battle John Connor, which comes with a ton of accessories, a display base and a cool terminator snake. But I spent more time playing with Wolverine, who only has a few hands as accessories - he's so much more interesting than Connor.

I was talking about the sculpt. Not the velcroe.
It's time you stopped wearing your rose coloured glasses in public. That debate was running at the start of this thread, why bring it up again now? You're not? Why are you running with it? I want to be passed that. The figure is out and they changed nothing on the sculpt and here we have it.

The figure is great to look at, in any number of poses. It's a great figure but not all that it could have been. We can agree on that? Yes?

The real attraction, as far as I'm concerned is his great costume. His body is secondary to that, which also looks great but the articulation hasn't benefited from the change to the aesthetic as much as I had hoped, and which hadn't been raised by those that have it. So the sheer delight to the eyes has either obliterated those thoughts or it doesn't bother them much.

All I'm trying to be is realistic, which isn't stopping you from being manic over a figure you may not even have as far as I know. Go for it, but you can raise the point without dragging my sorry ass into having to justify my opinion, over the overwhelming want, you have, to believe, this looks like Jackman.

When it comes down to it, I bought this figure because it looked good, and it does that in bounds. It has superficial faults. For me, it's like going to see Avatar with great expectations, and while it is visually appealing, didn't hit the mark as much I expected it to. We'll get your opinion when you get yours I expect. It will praise the heavens above, I'm sure, 'cause it is good, but don't let it blind you totally. Never go full retard.
