GB: yeah, I was getting tired of hearing Falien Big Crap as funny as it was the first couple times. For me anyway, the mouth mod solves my most pressing problems with the figure.

Agreed... once the mouth is closed (inner mouth never really worked that well for me) and the teeth chromed he was good to go.

BIG CHAP IN DA' HOUSE................

i went out to get my mail & the big brown truck pulls up just as im at the mailbox.............hands me a box & says ........."have a nice day"...........i said i already have & it just got better. so today has been fruitful..........scored the pred2 for a bud, received the big chap, and in the mail was my t-800 arnie head from toyanxiety.............TRIPLE SCORE...

and im on my 6th beer & the wife is going to take me out to dinner in a little while. it's a good day..........

Alien has landed. Got to love the hastings. Box had a few dings but it was still sealed so no worries.

Now that I have it in hand I see all sorts of head mod possibilities. I think I have plans for this beyond the silver teeth. We shall see.

Man, I need this figure NOW! Good news is, he'll probably hit my house this coming Monday or Tuesday .

one thing that I noticed is the question about the chamfer along the clear dome. I feel its because during the production process they decided to glue the below the chamfer instead of on it. Just by moving the rubber up to the line makes the whole head look more like the original design from Tsang. I wonder why that was decided?

Got my Big Chap from GoHastings today! I'll post pics later in the evening, since the pose I want for him is a little unstable and I'd like to customize his base by nailing a spare HT stand to it.

All I can say for now is... with the right pose, he actually does evoke the Alien. Not as well as the NECA version, but the overall figure in profile or in a 3/4 angle view practically screams Alien. Don't think I'll be gluing the mouth shut. Chroming the teeth... maybe. Later, though.
