It can also be used as a stand alone ( which i didn't even know. Too bad they didn't include the handle for the toy )

It looks cool with the figure and is accurate so, i'm on the lookout for it!

I love the move and have been wanting a JC figure ever since but unsure if this is worth extra few bucks over JC v1 that can be had for around $130 or so via 2nd hand.

weapon.

The Final Battle JC also comes with the LED feature Hydrobot and awesome display stand.

Yes he is great! The not so well received movie (though I stil liked it) is likely reason why there is no following. Not too many collectors here will buy a figure just for the quality of the product

That and there being another John Connor figure which did pretty well. While the hydrobot is appealing, I think the marjority of people are more happy to get the first Connor for the particular costume and all. I've said before, if I could only have one costume, I'd prefer the leather look from early in the movie, it makes for a more visually interesting figure. What drew me to this one was an enjoyment of the film and the scarred up look of Connor, and despite his lack of screen time, i did enjoy Bale as Connor.

What's the going rate for the first version of JC nowadays? I've seen him for $150 used but mint. I think he used to retail for $165 shipped. I'm surprised is not worth more in the aftermarket.

I've seen it go for less. I got mine from ebay for $112 shipped but that was like 6 months ago. Not too sure about now. The value of that figure didn't go up much thanks to the FB Connor.

I paid £150 for mine! Wasn't bothered by the price, it's not like it was unusually high but I thought i'd find it for less on e-bay these days. I plan on selling the hydrobot anyway so maybe i'll get a bit back for that.

That's kind of funny how the value of JC1 did not go up due to FB Connor BUT FB Connor can also be found for retail price due to some people wanting the look of JC1. Like a stalemate.
