Here here! Im so jazzed by this guy. I loved the character in the movie and the creepy smile is perfect to me. I will say that the paint apps are not as good as the promo from the picture but I can live with how it looks and pictures are never as good as the real figure. I wasn't crazy about Silk Spectre but the more I see the pictures I want them both now. I just hope they finish the line. Im for sure getting this dude but Im kind of holding off Spectre till there is announcement for more of the line. This is good enough for a stand alone.

1. A Pedophile/Peeping Tom

2. Mentally Challenged

The face is spot on perfect to the expression he had in the film...

It's the teeth, because they look overbitten, and that goofy look people pull, where you hang your top teeth on your bottom lip, that's the look they've sculpted them in for some reason. They SHOULD be just a regular smile, and should show some of just the bottom row, to look realistic, they are posed in that top row only goofy put on style

looks right to me...creep and scary, just like The Comedian should be.

Blake you are bang on correct - whether or not they went for the above pic expression - they got the teeth totally wrong and it 100% looks like he is over-biting in a goofy manner on purpose.

Personally, i think it's a pretty awesome headsculpt, if i liked the movie (or had even seen it) i'd be all over it. I'd like to see a talented sculpter, gently mod around that area like the twoface eye resculpt, and slightly fill it in to see how it comes up

Yeah the expression and smile look a little off if you zoom in on just that part of the face however as a whole it looks nice IMO and growing on me. I think I'll buy the figure at some point after DX Batman, Blade and BD IM.
I'm only looking for 1 representation of Watchmen and the Comedian is by far my favourite character. He's iconic

I watched the movie again at the weekend and the expression looks to me like the scene where Night owl says-
What's happened to America? What's happened to the American dream?

No, but you can see it towards the end of this clip, it's not the exact same pose, but the spirit of the narcissistic bastard is right there.

Great pics Mollins and Arrival... this figure is badass looking

I really think the expression was a bold and great choice... sure a 2nd neutral head would have been nice. But this looks like the Comedian and captures his character.

I think that's a shot from a different angle, on the same set as in my link above, the 'graffiti' flag in the back ground is there.

It is. But it's not the same shot (or even the same facial expression) as the actual Keene Riots scene in the movie. This particular shot is from the flashback when Rorschach is at the cemetery commenting about Blake.
