I watched the movie over the weekend as well. One of the better parts in the film IMO. I enjoyed The Comedian character (favorite in the film) but I cannot get into the two HT offereings thus far.

The Comedian is solid from shoulders down (minus smileys). The head sculpt is decent depending the angle of the head.
- Looking down is by far the best angle to pose, he appears menacing etc.
- Looking straight ahead or up isn't the best pose IMO.

Saw the clip and i see what you're talking about - but I still think the teeth look too goofy, nothing like that scene, need to be pushed in.

I'm expecting my Comedian any day now. I think he's an excellent with a near perfect face sculpt.

I would love one of those badges if they are still going?

It's a nice looking figure, but I'm one of those that think the headsculpt is a little off.
It almost looks a bit more like Jeffery Dean Morgan's stuntman who has a slightly bigger nose. You see him in the slow mo jump from the Owl ship and fighting the rioters.

I like the whole piece a lot. Certain pics tend to further accentuate the teeth but when you take into account how small they actually are in person I don't think it's that bad. Really looking forward to picking this one up.

Also nice to see a non-Batman thread getting some love in this section. :rip

Question for those who have him: Does his outfit restrict articulation in any way? I.e. the elbow pads, shoulder guards, and the lower body outfit.

Someone in here mentioned that the shoulder pads are so low because when you put them up higher (where they should be) it restricts arm movement.

with the shoulder pads over his shoulders, you can bend the arms, but not as much as you can without them on, so they restrict the movement slightly

It is. But it's not the same shot (or even the same facial expression) as the actual Keene Riots scene in the movie. This particular shot is from the flashback when Rorschach is at the cemetery commenting about Blake.

Yep. I know this, cuz I took the pic. That pic is mine you theif.

seriously kidding. :lol But that's my pic, so I can vouch for what Irish said.

:lol I know. You posted it in the first Hot Toys Comedian thread here (from back during SDCC), which is where I got it. :duff

ok its just cracked it open and posed him ready for my detolf, what can i say HT have done it again! I love this figure and i do not see a problem with the head sculpt far from it! Took me a while to figure which pose to go for but in the end opted for this so all gear is being displayed

I got mine this mornin!! :D I only got Wolverine yesterday!

I really like this figure! nice and solid.
Watch the straps on the grenade launcher, the fasters are not very sturdy.

I'm gonna wait until more of you experts puts his gear on so I can see how it;s done properly. I'm just way too nervous with the Hot Toys odds and ends! :lol

Flukey cineamtic one! :D
