The Comedians outfit appears to use the same material used on The Dark Knight (original version). Anyone with both figures confirm or deny?

If the same material, any suggestions how to avoid the black color from fading? My figures are stored in my media room in a detolf away from light and varying temperature yet, my Batman (original suit) appears faded or "dried out". I have no such problem with any other figures and I want to avoid the fading when the Comedian arrives.
