Hmm, the middle pic looks nothing like Arnie, a nice sculpt but I just don't see Arnie there at all. The other two are also nice but they both look like they have the eyes too far apart.
The likeness was way off? Exaggerated maybe but its easily one of the best made Terminator 2 collectibles to date.
quick question: if sideshow gets the t800 before the month ends, when does viking playground, cornerstore comics, or alter ego get their shipment? do they get their hot toys figs from sideshow?
September or so...
*EDIT* I forgot to put j/k at the end!!
I dunno Sean, I think Sideshow got down the important details fine. Again its exaggerated some but overall they got the main areas of damage done well. I suppose you need to see it in person to see the details up close. The actual eye socket (endo) could have been much better.

ohh! i'd give my left nut for that bust, i have the 1:1 combat endoskull coming in a couple of weeks but this bust is frikkin expensive!
Its very rounded alright...
Also did he have the damage to his ear on screen?
That does look incredible. Its the human side of the face I'm not convinced by on that one and the aforementioned eyes being too far apart IMO. I wonder will Hot Toys sculpt exposed teeth on their 1/6th like that SS bust.

I know, its doubled (a few times tripled) in price. I was lucky.
It just looks like way too much muscle tissue showing, especially along the top of his head, it looks like someone took a bunch of raw hamburger and stuffed it between skin and the Endo. While that might be a realistic visual, it just looks overdone to me. I prefer the look to keep someone close to the film makeup, more do making the proportions and things more realistic than adding excess material between his skin and Endo. There really wasn't a lot between the Endo and skin int he makeup.
I see what you're saying (really do) but keep in mind that this puppy only retailed for $499. If they went all out the price could/should have been $999 easily.
