Wow Kdoty1, Voorhees and Rzeznikk, great shelves! Can't wait to be able to display my Terminator collection properly again, my whole collection for that matter. Presently in boxes.

I know I said my last pics were my last for this figure, but here is another.

XT800.jpg

Amazing pose, very lifelike. Best photo I've seen yet I think. :clap

Mine is still in transit, I was hoping I'd have him in hand this week, but I guess it'll be next week :)pray:).

Doubt any of you were moved out of your parents house at 20 :lecture

The last I heard from people and friends they are moving back to them due to this worldwide recession. UK really is f00ked.

Love that pose. :D

Looks like he's about to reach out and say, come with me if you want to live.

This figure is quickly becoming one of my most favorites in my collection, it is just such a fantastic figure, it's fun, and it is so good at representing the source, I can't stop looking at it and being amazed by it, last figure to do that for me was Wolverine.

Totally agree with you man!

I'm really impressed how well neck articulation is hidden by shadows. HT has really done their research and delivered one of the most seamless 1/6 figures.

Yep. If you didn't know it you'd think it was one piece.

This IS my favorite figure ............... nothing else compares imo. Plus it helps that i'm a total T1/T2 nut :lecture

If there were a T1 figure of this quality it would (and I hope will) be my #1 figure. But as is he's definitely in the top 10.

Amen, brother. The thing that sucks imo is that there is still no direct confirmation (other than mentioning) that HT's IS doing T1.

If they do, please whore away, HT's ........... whore away! :lecture

I suppose in most views, you don't see it, but I can't help wonder, why put that bit of flesh behind his hear and why not make like a v shape out of the ear and his har, then you'd really blur the line between figure and real portrait.

I'm just glad they've improved their necks on such bodies, in the past, they've looked too long or irregularly shaped or heads not being the right size for them, but this T-800 body and the Wolverine/Comedian body works great.

T1 figures would be a dream come true. I'd want an updated Police Station T-800, Tech Noir T-800, 1980s Kyle Reese, and maybe even Sarah Connor. I'm really hoping they give us at least a couple of those in figure form.

But no super-limited exclusives please. Make them all as abundant as any other figure.

Yes. Yes! :lecture

I'm not too greedy, I would take 7-8 different versions of Arnold. :panic:

Whatever about T2 John Connor I really really seriously doubt they'd ever do a T1 Sarah Connor. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

I can see at least 1 T-800 happening, though possibly just a DX solo release and that's all she wrote on T1. I hope not, I really want a Police station / BD figure and Kyle Reese in his '84 duds, but with the licensing, I'm just not confident about just what we might see. I knew T2 could be a free for all, just a matter if they would, and it seems they're going for it. In some ways, the T2 line might benefit from the license issues with T1, if they really want to cash in on the franchise but don't want to go through all the extra trouble on T1, they might really milk the T2 line beyond normal.

police station shoot out & tech noir = must

kyle reese = must

80's sara = meh, (though i would probably get her.....:))

I'd be happy with a DX if it came with a second outfit to make the other version of the T1 T-800. It would be just fine as long as they produced a new true type body for him like they did with Michael Jackson and Joker.

I'm thinking they might indeed do another clean portrait for T2 Arnie, but with PERS. We already discussed it and I think many were in agreement that including all the Cyberdyne accessories with the Battledamaged version would just amount to too much even for DX. So perhaps we might see a seperate Cyberdyne DX figure using PERS. MMS117 would still have at least the rosebox&shotgun and the endoskeleton arm to keep it (semi)unique.

One way or another I really would love to see a PERS headsculpt. I don't see why it would have to be the (so far) usual wide-eyed look.

Wait I forgot the MMS117 also has the sunglasses and black t-shirt. So really the whole look from the first part of the film would not be available with a possible Cyberdyne DX figure. There'd be plenty to mark it out as unique and make it a justified purchase despite a second clean headsculpt coming with a new figure.

Regardless, it ain't happening.
