that's what i figured. terminator would shoot him, and it'd have no effect, then iron man would repulsor blast his ass until the whole machine was fried. and he can fly, so that's a plus.

still, it'd be pretty cool to see on screen (not that i want it to be in a movie, it'd just look awesome)

Depends which Terminator. T1 Terminator is such a bad-ass, that he would probably threaten to kill Pepper unless Tony gave himself up. Then, of course, he would kill them both.

T2 Arnold would probably keep trying to shoot IM in the kneecaps to no avail, then start looking sad before his head was blown off by Stark.

T-800 it would grab onto Ironmans head a squash his head like a pancake... Dont tell me Ironmans to fast IronMonger was able to grab him and crush the helmet... No reason the T-800 being smaller and slimer would move even faster then IronMonger...

iron monger took the helmet off, and then crushed the hollow helmet. he was also a lot bigger and stronger than the terminator. iron man would win.

terminator has a lot of strength, and simple weapons that he needs to get, while iron man has super powered high tech weapons, like missiles, flares, repulsors, and even the flight ability on top of it all.

As for Stark vs a Terminator, depends which model of the Terminator. I think a T-1000 would easily assassinate Stark, but Tony would have it hands down any time against a T-800.

Does the Iron Man suit have any cushioning inside it? If not then surely a good blow to the head will kill him just as much as if he weren't wearing the suit at all.

Simple, the T-800 wouldn't go after him as Iron Man. It would wait, possibly at an expo and murder him.

T-1000 would kill Pepper, copy her, infiltrate as her and kill Tony.
