Yay, Nay?

Guy has a pretty neat grenade launcher as well. May pick that up!

Regarding the above custom BD head. I would like to have one in hand before i judge it, however i think it may have some potential with the glasses on and under different lighting. As is now, it reminds me more of napalm damage.:dunno

edit:
looks pretty good with shades on. hmm. $60 bucks...

good attempt, but not feeling the battle scars/damage he chosen.

Its based on the damage he sports throughout much of T3. I don't think it works really to just paint on silver to represent the underlying metal. That damage would need to be sculpted into the face. In just painting it looks like silver blood coming out of the wounds and not that theres an actual metal endoskeleton underneath.

Finally received my T-800 after what felt long an eternity of waiting. Slow ass USPS. :slap

Anyhoo, being that the figure came from gohastings, I was a lil scepticle but eager to see what shape the box would be in, considering the things Ive heard about how hastings doesnt "handle with care". However this was not the case here, the box was in excellent condition;although the outer shipping box did smell like smoke & another unfamiliar scent. The actual figure box was packed deep inside another sorta big box, one that was big enough to fit at least two HT boxes in. Thick bubble wrap surrounded the figure, a feature that pleased me in every way possible!

Ive heard other owners described how heavy this guy was, but I was quite shocked to discover it for myself. He looks & feels really massive & makes his 'bunk buddy' BAD:MJ look really puny almost. I may have to room him with Bats (someone who is more on his level), as I think M.J is gettin' a little intimidated. :lol

In all, Im very satisfied with my purchase. Couldnt ask for a better looking figure!

*EDIT*: BTW, did you guys take the head off to switch shirts? Or did you just put it on over his head? I didnt think I was going to like the look of the grey shirt, but it looks good in person. Plus, I was to lazy to try to remove the jacket to apply the black shirt. Its always a hassle for me to get HT clothes on & off of figures. So most my of figs always get displayed with the default/stock look.....

I changed shirt without the head removal.. yeah I can imagine MJ no matter how bad he thinks he is, he is just sickly when beside the Terminator but pics woudl stil be nice :D
:borg:

Can someone please tell me the color of his wrist pegs? Trying to order some extra ones but I've never ordered body parts. I know there's the caucasian, asian and whatever others but since its a muscle body I'm not sure what it most resembles?

The wrist pegs are actually larger on the new muscular bodies, though I'm pretty sure it's just the ball part, but, depending on what you're trying to do, using the smaller kind might look a little funny. Best bet is to just look for an auction/sale of the T-800 wrist pegs.

*Agrees with MaulFan*

...But I was suprised to see just how big the pegs were! That really adds to the massive feature this guy has. He's rather stiff though. Articulation is limited. I tried turning his head, didnt budge, so I left it alone. :lol ....Fiddling with HT scares me for some reason. I just dont have the guts to "pop sockets" or screw with these figs like most here do....

Wow thanks for telling me that, somehow I didn't even notice the difference--don't really have many of these laying around. I bid on a pair of reg pegs but I think I may have to retract that:slap

I'm still gutted to this day we don't get a peg for each hand.
