Looks great. The colors in all three characters compliment each other and make that shelf pop.

Yeah, one of the big draws of these designs--and the comic designs--for me, are the basic and iconic costume designs. Would love to have a Linda Carter to complement them.

Think it's time to retire the crystal display, something I was never really impressed with. I really wish Hot Toys would just keep the uniform standard bases or atleast pack then in as an option with every figure. I love those black stands with the license logo on them. That's one of the things I hate about the DX figures.

I almost always transition my guys to the regular stands if they don't come with them standard. My DX Joker and Batman use stands from the previous MMS releases. I've got an extra T1 T-800 waiting for the new version. Might have to get Evilface to do up a decal for another one.

Yeah, I have extra Tech Noir stands for the upcoming Police Shootout. Definitely not using that street DX stand.

It's just weird to me how inconsistent they are with them. It should be a uniform thing where all figures come with atleast the standard base. That's one of the things that pissed me off about the '89 Batman figures. Would have been nice to get those black stands with the classic film logo like Superman and 60s Batman and Robin, but nah, we get these big clunky box things and a set of huge *** steps.

Back to Batman and Robin, I like how there's absolutely no filler. I took everything out of the box and nothing felt like a waste. No gimmicky base stands, no crappy background dio, no big *** Sandman statue. They're perfect releases.

totally agree about the colors popping on these figures ,just added mine to my dc shelf ,starting to look like a 1/6 scale "legends of the superheroes " tv special from the 70s ,or the cast of one of those 70s superheroes water
park shows they used to advertise in the comics lol

Very cool display, Libby. Difabio, have you tried using Evilface's decals? They're nearly indistinguishable from an official HT stand once applied.

Hi This is my custom 1966 Batman Repaint.

I used a custom mix of metallic blue and clear read to get the purple. I redid the mask area , and modded the cape .

The stock hot toys one is in picture for comparison . I hope you guys think it looks ok . I have a book baded on Batman's history and in it are full glossy pictures of the actual TV costumes. The eyebrows and nose area are light blue not whiteish like on the hot toys. Anyway , don't panic about snags on the suit , the real suit has them too !

I actually really like it.

The stock one is just a little too dark for my tastes. Your repaint lightens it up quite a bit.

not everyone is going to like it I suppose . I don't really care colllectors have seen it in person and liked it . And one purchased it from me yesterday and prefers the repaint over the stock.

I doubt it....but he would be next logical choice..but HT has to do more Iron Man armors so they are too busy currently
